It's all kinds of f'ed up.

The premise is that you are put in control of a man named only "The Batter", a guy who looks like a baseball player. You and a Cheshire cat named "The Judge" are charged with helping The Batter complete his mission--"purifying" zones from spectres in a world called "The Nothingness".

You go through each zone, soon meeting the zone's "secretary" whom you kill, completing the zone's purification. However, upon killing the secretary, the zone literally dies, all color is lost, everything good AND bad, dies.

There are five elements as well: Meat, Metal, Plastic, Sugar, and I think Paper.

Anyway, this game is made by some French guy named something ghost, I don't remember...

Has anyone played this seriously unsettling game?

I will be disappointed if the entire Homestuck fandom doesn't turn up here.

I downright LOVE this game. The ending sure was a twist.

I have turned a game "OFF", but never played a game called OFF.

I absolutely love this game.

Just some corrections on the first post, the "secretary" of a zone is really its "guardian". There is such a thing as secretaries in the game, and they're disturbing as hell. The five elements are meat, plastic, smoke, metal, and sugar. The weirdest part about these elements is how they're formed and what they're used for. People breath smoke, plastic is the water, metal is like the land, meat is the prime food source, and sugar is an addictive drug.

I highly recommend it to people who like Indie horror games, though I really don't think this game is as scary as others. It's unsettling towards the second half of the game, of course. The best part of the game is the setting, it's one of the most creative I've seen in a game. The art for the game is awesome too, and the soundtrack is badass.

My sister plays it, and she just downloaded it onto our new laptop. I'm going to try it soon if she lets me.

i'm trying to download it but it's not working, even after i've downloaded the RTP and RPG 2003 crap

it just comes up with an error message which is full of question marks
