Pardon the late notice on this but I just found this myself. I doubt anyone here is gonna do this but it won't hurt to raise awareness a little.

On May 25, people around the globe are going to do a peaceful protest against Monsanto and GMOs.

I plan on attending the one that's nearest to where I live.

Monsanto is a huge food corporation that genetically modifies its products. Unfortunately, it's been shown time and time again that these products have horrible health risks, and can lead to the development of cancer tumors, infertility, and birth defects, to name a few. Recently, a law was passed to prevent courts from preventing these products from being sold.

Oh, also Monsanto has put patents on life. It holds patents over some types of widely used seeds.

These rats were fed GMOs and developed those tumors as a result. The same products are sold everywhere - without needing to be labeled as a GMO. Would you willingly feed that to your children?

I should have said this before my last post. Basically I'm saying people need to learn more about what they are arguing for or against before they form an opinion.
