Scarlet Ninjini will be available at Gamestop on May 14th, before Target!

She WON'T be street dated, either, so as soon as she arrives, they can put her out.

It's from an internal email and possibly a Power Up rewards email. I've spoken to several employees at stores across the country and they each acknowledged the internal email.

And a reader on my blog just commented to let me know that he's already found Scarlet Ninjini at his local Best Buy.

I can vouch for the no street date thing. Here in Oklahoma City, I grabbed 3 Scarlet Ninjini's and a Eruptor/Stealth Elf/Terrafin triple pack from Gamestop. Why that many Scarlets and a triple pack? Well, they're also giving away Sidekicks if you spend 20 or more. So, I grabbed a set of Sidekicks for my kids.

Now I got me an American pegging Scarlet. I will give my Euro peg version to my youngest daughter now.

I too can confirm GameStop getting Scarlet Ninjini on the 14th. My local store is going to be holding one for me and will call me when they get the shipment in.

I heard this from an exployee when I went today. I'll be back tomorrow to get another sidekick and might ask if it'd be possible for them to hold a Scarlet for me. I'll definatly be going on Wednesday to try to get one when I get off work.

There was no street date on Scarlet. When I went in, they had 8 more on the shelf, after holding me 2, and I picked up 1 more, leaving the store with 7 left.

So, if any Gamestop has them, they can sell them.

Gamestops and two hadn't even heard there WAS a "scarlet" ninjini and the other said he had nothing in back room and hadn't had any notification of her coming. I know two of the store managers and they are really good to us--so I know they weren't just not telling me.
Bummer! Anybody else have this experience? Suggestions other than checking regularly?

If these are shipping to stores from Gamestop's HQ in Texas and not directly from Activision, they should be moving out in a radial pattern over the next few days. Most of the new listings with the US hangtag version are from individuals in TX, OK, and CA.

Their headquarters is really close to me. I actually almost got a seasonal job there. If I keep checking the one by my work then they'll probably get them soon. Maybe should check the one in Euless (I believe the closest one to HQ) in addition to the one in Arlington.

That is very good news for everyone! I love my Scarlet and play her pretty much all the time now for a Giant. I hope you can all get one!

Yeah, it usually takes 2 days for these guys to travel from Texas to CA. So this weekend... I'm going hunting!

In general, I find that GameStop employees are not well-informed about anything that isn't a first-person military style shooter game. A lot of GameStop employees view Skylanders as "kiddie stuff" and they're either annoyed by the phone call inquiries about Skylanders availability or they're just plain ol' ignorant about Skylanders merchandise releases altogether.
One might think that a place called "GAMEStop" would have employees that, ya know, actually are well-informed about all the GAMES they sell. But the truth of the matter is that most GameStop employees are there just punching the clock. If anyone wants to "be the first" to get Scarlet Ninjini in your local area, you'll just simply have to frequently keep re-checking your GameStop multiple times per day until they eventually show up on the shelves. I think that's a ridiculous way to spend one's time, but to each, his/her own.

I have 7 gamestops within 5 minutes of my home and work. Each store has employees that have different likes and dislikes. One loves Skylanders, another loves racing games, another RPG's. It all depends on the individual. When I started hunting Skylanders at Gamestops, the employee at each store let me know what time the UPS truck arrived and when was the best time to check for new guys.

On a side note I actually ran into a couple Gamestop workers at C2E2 the other weekend. It was fun to get to talk to and see them outside of work.

I called 5 within fifteen minutes of my home here in VA and was told none of them have seen her, but they all did verify the memo about her being shipped to all stores by the 14th and that if they received her sooner they could sell her.

I just called the 5 non-mall stores that are a 10-15 min drive from me (Indianapolis) and they all knew about her and all of them said she will arrive on Monday... they were shipped and in transit but they don't receive shipments on the weekends here!!

My gamestop here had her today. Was passing by just to check things out and BAM there she was on the pegs. Grabbed one and they told me they just got her today. This is in Fort Worth, TX.

Just got off the phone with my gamestop, they're getting 6 Scarlets in on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to snag one before the scalpers get to them.

Went to 3 different Gamestops in Roseville, CA. 2 had heard of the 14th (Tuesday) announcement, but none had gotten any.

@Gamestop finally replied to me on Twitter. They're saying that all locations should have these by the 14th so keep checking.

Went to GameStop again after work since I decided to go as much as possible since the guy told me they'd be getting them yesterday. Glad I did, they had 2!! I got one (who from this day on shall be known as Svetlana) and also grabbed a Flashwing so I could get a Gill Runt.

Both had bad paint jobs around the eyes. One had the eyeliner on her left not lined up with her eye, the one I got has no eyeliner around her right eye and no right eyebrow. I don't care, I ripped her box open as soon as I got home and wouldn't give her up for anything. <3

This is in Arlington, Texas by the way.

I ain't ripping up my box when i get her. And I won't give her up for anything either... below $50 :P

Saw her today at Target. However manager would not let it be sold before the 19th. They had 10 on the pegs and found 3 perfect ones. The quality control is really bad on this one figure for some reason. I know the two I got from Germany back in March were really bad. I traded one away and wanted to get another just to keep in the box for collecting. Thinking now I probably should've hid one till the 19th lol.

Talked to a GameStop employee on Friday evening in Charlotte. He saw me looking at the Skylanders and without me even asking, he gave me the sales pitch about the "sidekicks" promotion (which was pretty funny, because the automated/recorded voice over the speakers in the store was hyping the same exact promotion at the same time the employee was blabbing about it). He went on to tell me that -- and I quote -- "sometime in the middle of next week we'll be getting something called the Scarlet Ninjini; I guess it's a special character."

Sounds like by all accounts Scarlet Ninjini will be on the shelves, in limited quantities only, at all GameStop locations, anytime between now and 5/15/13. The closer you live to Texas (where Scarlet is already on ... or maybe gone from already ... the shelves), the sooner she'll appear (due to shipping time from GameStop's distribution center in Texas).

This is an estimate, but, I'd venture (based on geography alone)...

• Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico .... get out there and look in your stores TODAY (it may already be too late in some Texas stores).
  
• Florida panhandle, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Eastern Tennessee, Southern Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Arizona .... anticipate Monday delivery/stocking.
  
• rest of Florida, Georgia, rest of Tennessee, both Carolinas, both Virginias, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Southern Michigan, Indiana, rest of Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Iowa, most of Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Southern Idaho, Nevada, Southern California .... anticipate Monday or Tuesday delivery/stocking.
  
• New England, New York/New Jersey, rest of Michigan and Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, rest of Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Northern California .... anticipate Tuesday or Wednesday delivery/stocking.
  

Or, if you don't want to play guessing games and/or you strike out at GameStop this week, just be at your local Target store when it opens up on Sunday morning, 5/19.

Everyone (or at least, almost everyone) on this board knows that Scarlet Ninjini was released in European markets over a month ago. So, by not specifying that you don't live in the USA, your above post (#38) makes it sound like you claimed to have seen Scarlet Ninjini in a USA GameStop last month ... which you did not.

If you want to speculate, say you are guessing and what you are basing it on. The burden of proof lies on the person offering up the info, not others to prove them wrong (conspiracy theorists love to us this one). If you are providing information that you cannot say where you got it due to it having a bad impact on someone's job that is fine - mention that, but don't expect people to believe you until you have established a significant track record of having inside info.

the guy that did first post didn't say this was specific only usa thread .... and no i didnt know Scarlet Ninjini was a europe first... so have me excused... i cant know everything.
