Is there going to be a zap in a single or do we have the buy the scorpion pack?

So far there is no word of Chop Chop or Zap being in single packs (aside from the special Toy Fair Chop Chop). By now something should've been said. I think I heard somewhere that the series 2 figures in the battle packs would be exclusive to the battle pack, though this could just be more misinformation.

I went for the Scorpion Striker to get Zap.

If your looking to get it for the figure to play the cannon pack is $15 on amazon and I wont be surprised if by June the other one is also.

then they should have kept the other 2 exclusive as well instead of shoving shroomboom into the triple pack with slam bam and hex and i was HOPING would include S2 drobot but NOOOO they want to shove shroomboom into MORE packaging but i guess that actually makes sense though for them to put 2 desired figures into the same triple as an undesired....hmmm i get it but STILL

You do realise that alot of people like Shroomboom yes? Just because you (and I) don't particularly like him doesn't make him undesirable to the majority of the market. There is probably people saying why is hex in there etc etc

No. Just no. Saying that Shroomboom is anything more than undesirable (to the "majority of the market") is like saying that Crystal Pepsi is/was anything more than undesirable to the majority of the people in the soda/pop market.

And if you don't remember/know what Crystal Pepsi is/was, then I'd say you're too naive to make a general statement about Shroomboom!

I rather like Shroomboom than Thump Smash but i hate the fact that they made alot of different packaging in Skylanders Giants, when i go Skylanders hunting i see Shroomboom everywhere like walmart, TRU, eb games, future shop, bestbuy etc. its like the earth is invaded with Shroomboom lol. Btw Shroomboom lightcore is like a night light which is pretty cool to me

I don't know what crystal pepsi was, that however doesn't stop me having an opinion on shroomboom (and i imagine it was a US only thing, and thus there is no way i would know)

Shroomboom has often come up as a popular character whenever there is one of those best skylander threads on this board and other places, true he comes up as a worst as well.

The majority of the market of skylanders is children, who i imagine find shroomboom amusing, and i find it VERY difficult to believe the majority of everyone who plays the game hates him.

The majority of people don't buy every skylander in every package, so him being in 4 doesn't effect most people- apart from making him easier to get hold of, and thus into more peoples hands- which means more people will like him.

Shroomboom is possibly my second least favourite Life skylander (with Zook) but i still enjoy the character design, and the Lightcore was one of the strongest. I think you are letting your obvious personal dislike for him convince you that no one could like him

I actaully quite dispise him as well. He's is easily my least favorite Life skylander, and that's saying a bit considering Stealth Elf and Camo are the only Life ones I don't hate. I even refuse to pay full retail price for a Dragonfire Canon pack simply because of him. (I won't go over $20, even then I'd be a little hesitant.) Since I already have a Hex though his triple doesn't effect me.

Thats fair enough- not saying everyone loves him- like i said I don't like him either. My point is that the majority of people do like him.
Also i've never seen a triple pack i've not owned at least1 existign character for, they arn't for hardened collectors really, they are for people who buy figures rarely/get into skylanders late

The Series 2's in the Battle Packs have been confirmed to be exclusive in that pack only.

They're not going to do a Zap/ChopChop single. The only Chop Chop single is the Toy fair variant of it.

No one knows for sure if they are or aren't. It wouldn't make sense to leave Zap and Chop as Battle Pack exclusives, but not the newlanders.

However, even I don't know. It was never stated - anyone is welcome to show us otherwise - they weren't going to be in singles, but some say TFB said they weren't, while others say TFB has stated only Tree Rex wouldn't be available in a single release.

Let's see what Wave 5 has in store for us, whenever it finally decides to hit shelves.... in the next fifty years. :/

I will try to explain this one more time. When a company releases a line like skylanders that involves multiple UPC's they send a full list of UPC's to retailers so these UPC's can be crossreferenced into SKU's for sale. In September of last year retailers were sent a full list of the UPC's for the giant, core, lightcore, triple pack, battle pack regular distribution. UPC's for singles of Zap and Chop Chop were not included in this list. It is theoretically possible that they could be released just not as part of the regular assortment. It is unlikely we will see them. In addition there is UPC for a single Jet-Vac and UPC's for nine triple packs.

An educated WalMart associate (Ya I know) can verify this information at anytime. They can access the crossreference SKU list by pressing TAB on their telxons. The fact there is no UPC for these two singles nor has their been any indications of their actual existence should be a better indicator these will not be released in Giants then the idle speculation well their is a singleof HotDog and ShroomBoom debate.

But TRU had listings for single Chop Chop and Zap. Wish I would have saved those emails, despite being cancelled.
