I got him on Black Friday, but today he just refused to light up. He still works though.

The same thing happened to mine. I think it just broke so I gave the old one to my dad and opened the sealed one I had yet to return. Phew! There was only a full shelf of him left at Target! smilie

You can try contacting them. I recently got a new LC Eruptor and Swarm because neither would light up anymore. They didn't even ask me to send my figures in, I would say it's worth a try! Worst case you send yours in and wait a few days to get a brand new one smilie
