(the price is ridiculous)

im soo glad i bought mine in 2011.

why is it so popular????

my gamestop had this but they sold out of stock. now all they have is like s.1. whirlwind

Which means their prices aren't based on reality and shouldn't be used as any kind of guide.

Agreed about ToyWiz. That's a trash website.

However, the point is valid about Ghost Roaster's secondary market value escalating recently. Loose/used Ghost Roaster figurines were selling for ~$30 USD a month or so ago, and have now climbed to ~$50+ USD.

My guess is that the slow trickle of Darklight Crypt packs that we occasionally saw in retail stores during February/March has now totally ground to a dead stop. Meanwhile, demand has stayed about the same, so considering the decreased supply, it's natural to expect the price to increase.

CEX in the UK is wonderful, you can buy Darklight crypt second hand for £18, Ghost Roaster for £20, yet you GET ghost roaster in the darklight crypt bundles- Got to love a lack of skylanders knowledge at these places..

Yeah that's crazy, but still the average price is around $100 on ebay for a boxed one.

Wow lol, think it might be time to get rid of mine. I paid $50 for it when it was unavailable here, and now I'm actually going to profit from it... smilie

I'm glad that I have it, DC is undoubtedly the best Adventure Pack

Sealed is going for $150 on ebay. That's insane. I am glad I got my set in Jan for $48.

I remember when SSA launched and stores like Best Buy had shelves filled with Darklight Crypts. I held off on buying it then because I figured that there would be plenty in stock for a long time. A few months later and I was having a heck of a time tracking one down. Who knew?

I got it for christmas 2011 smilie

On that day i got the starter pack, dark light crypt, zap and stumpsmash. Glad i got it now smilie

I got Darklight Crypt when I picked up the game, along with Pirate Seas. TRU had that buy two get one free sale or something like that.

Gosh, if any of us had any foresight into how rare these thing were gonna be, we should have snapped them up when we saw them.

Sad thing I saw like 10 of them at a TRu express back in jan and wishing i had bough them, could haev funded my whole skylander giant stuff.
