  • Loyalty to family
  • Loyalty to friends
  • Loyalty to yourself
  • Loyalty to your nation.

My opinion is: friends, self, family, nation.

Myself (because that's the basis of all loyalty, can't be loyal to others if you're not loyal to yourself)
Family (because like them or not, you're stuck with them your whole life)
Friends (there's a reason why they're friends)
Nation (not everyone can be a patriot)

Myself.
My nation / family.

Nation and family aren't things that you choose. You get put in there without any say whether you want them or not. I don't understand why people should love their parents. It just doesn't make sense to me. They didn't choose you. Genetics did.

I put myself before my friends because really, I don't want to make myself happy in life, as long as those I really do love are happy. I don't have many friends but I'd sacrifice anything for my REAL friends that make ME happy.

Your parents made the decision to raise you, nurture you, and guide you. As long as they do that, I don't see why you SHOULDN'T love them.
