You spelt lighting wrong, they aren't lightning up

I would have posted a pic, the thumbnail of that video is enough for me.

And yes, I see no lightning, they aren't Lighning Rod or Cynder you know... (Can't think of who else shoots lightning).

Pop Fizz looks awesome. Chill, not so much unfortunately...

Can anyone tell me if Lightcore Chill is only a Legendary or not? I've been confused about whether there is a normal version of her as a lightcore or not. Thanks. :)

^ Her LightCore has a Legendary variant.

I knew about the Legendary variant, but I haven't been able to find the non-variant (if it exists). I'm really out of it today, so just to make sure I read that right: you're saying there is both a normal Lightcore Chill AND the Legendary variant?

The legendary one just came out first. Right now the normal one is only out in Austraila, maybe a few other areas, but has yet to be released everywhere.

As it is, neither Lightcore Pop Fizz or Chill are available in New Zealand yet, but I'll still be keeping an eye out.

Yes, there is indeed a Lightcore Chill besides the Legendary. Here's her listing at GameStop (EBGames here in Canada, and I think Australia and some other places):

(Sorry, their picture is really small). She was/will be released well after Legendary was, in fact she's listed on there as Not Available, I think because she hasn't been released yet. I also note that she isn't listed on the Dark Spyro Packs page yet, so her not being out yet would make sense.

She's probably going to be out whenever they release Lightcore Hex. Thanks for the link and the pic! :)

No problem. I know the confusion that can arise from all the different variants. As a character and Lightcore figure, she bores me on both fronts, but the fact that here in Canada we got Legendary Lightcore Chill before anyone else, even America, I couldn't resist getting her, LOL! I've paid attention to her situation since, and noticed in a few places that there's a non-Legendary for the other stores, just that she's not out yet.

Wow, LC Pop Fizz is just sad. The original version looked so much better.

I'm a bit of an unabashed fan of all the lady Skylanders, especially the more humanoid ones like Chill. She's been on my "to get" list since she was revealed. :) (And I did manage to get the Legendary Chill today, so that's one more to mark off. Woo!)

I heard rumours that the 2-bottle version looked too much like he was holding maracas, and in an explosion of P.C. stupidity they worried that might offend Mexicans or something, so they changed it to 1.

That, or it felt like false advertising, since he never holds two bottles at once in the game.

No, this one was official, I believe this is how he looks on the Skylanders poster and everything. I read about it on another thread where they were complaining that he was changed.

ZapNorris thought that. Most likely they changed it due to having too many lights. His eyes were supposed to light up, too.

No such thing as too many lights! There's such thing as too few, though. *ahem*Hot Head*ahem*

LC Jet-Vac has 2-3 lights on him. Why couldn't they just lower the brightness of the lights on LC Pop Fizz?

i was actually really surprised when i put hot head on the portal. i was expecting the flames on his hands to light up but no they thought it was a good idea to light up his head instead

I think they wanted to match his name so the only lit up his head.

The thing is, all 3 locations are flames, it makes lofgical sense for them ALL to light up. I was so disappointed. And I've seen a picture of a custom someone did where they made the hands light up, too, so I know it's possible (I've seen this guy tweak the lights on several figures, but he never mentions how he managed it).

There are ways, but it involves cutting up the figure and connecting LEDs to the RFID chip.

I imagine the only reason they didn't do the hands as well would be price- they obviously intended to as the flames are pretty identical on all 3 spots.
I agree it was fairly disappointing

Hothead and Thumpback are both terrible in the 'light' department.

How can anyone say LC Hex has the worst lightcore you may be basing off where it is placed but we have not really seen the character light up yet.
