Granite Crusher - Adding to collection in Giants [CLOSED]

I managed to pick up a Granite Crusher. He appears in game properly (e.g. new skin) but I don't get a new Skylander in my earth collection.

Is this normal?

If you don't know HOW to swap owner ship, hit the button that brings up the stats/quests/hats screen, scroll down to manage, click it, then click ownership- This will then register him as yours- just means someone else placed him in a game before you got him
