I haven't watched Sword Art Online, but I've heard positive and negative things about it. Is it that bad? Because I was thinking of watching it once I've finished Death Note.


The first two episodes make it seem alright, but the whole thing gets far too side-tracked by the romance. I disliked that, myself, but I suppose if you like that sort of thing you may enjoy the anime. Really, the plot was pretty good at first, and the fight scenes are cool with some awesome music, but just they layer on the romance too thickly for the kind of Anime they were going for, which I think ruined it.

That's my opinion, though, so if you end up watching it and enjoying it then yay for finding an Anime you like! ^^

Yeah, I've heard that the first three episodes are good, but after that it just goes downhill (from what I've heard). Thanks for letting me know about that, I think I might give Sword Art Online a miss if it's going to be like that.

Also, Elfen Lied is terrible, nobody should watch it. It's only gore and boobs.

I actually quite like SAO, then again I'm only up to episode 7. Two of my anime friends think the show is really good. And I've pretty much heard what happens in SAO from them as they were talking about, and plus I read a bit about it. I like Kirito and Silica, but I don't really like Asuna.

I never watched it.

It was meh, could've been better.

^ I really suggest you don't give in because there is so much better anime out there and it would be awful for your first anime to InuYasha (like mine was). The problem with that show is that it has a plot which can be summed up in about 50 episodes, but instead it just drags on and on. I watched up to season four and then just gave up on it.

Just started watching Durarara and I'm loving it. Shizou and Izaya are freaking amazing.

i mean seriously it's the only anime i've seen where people get a giant trash can randomly thrown at them

You should start with something simple and short. To see if you can get into the others.

My first anime that got me into anime was The Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan. I'm guessing that was my warning on what I was getting myself into.

I saw the first season and I liked it.
It got pretty dull for me after that.

I liked Soul Eater, but it took me a while to get used to the graphics. The first three episodes are kind of 'meh', but it gets better after that. The plot really picks up at episode seven.

I honestly don't really have a reason. Its just good and the characters are great (but Blackstar can be annoying).

^Pretty much what DarkCynder_543 said. Soul Eater is one of my favourite animes and it is really good after the first three episodes imo. Like DarkCynder_543 said, the characters are great but Black Star can get annoying (he's pretty much like another Naruto). But I guess after a while you get used to him.

I'd recommend Soul Eater. The plot and the villains were pretty interesting, and most of the characters were funny.
Although I actually Blackstar (though I prefer Soul) and kind of dislike Death the Kid.

Also I'm still on Hell Girl: Two Mirrors... I need to finish it so I can start something else, maybe Tiger and Bunny?

All my anime friends say Sword Art Online is really good and awesome, and yet all you guys say it is horrible.
Well, I'm going to continue watching it.
And then after that I'll probably watch Gosick or Special A or Pandora Hearts again.

I finally finished warching Toradora(sp?)! Is pretty chill. I liked it.
Now I'm watching Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
I read the manga on 2012 and then i left it because i forgot the name and forgot to follow up.
I really like it
