Why are other company's copying skylanders
1st it's disney infinity
2nd it's hasbro copying
3rd it's pokemon copying
And finally a whole bunch of
iPad games copied it

Kidding.
Still, everyone wants to do it because it is such a great source of money. I suppose you'd have to look at it from their point of view. The companies want money so they can afford to make new video games and what have you, so they have to come up with good ideas that will get them lots of money. This Skylanders toy idea is a good start. smilie

When did Hasbro make a skylanders-type game? And since when iOS skylanders-type games come around?

Of course they didn't, Activision don't own patent over the technology because it's used in the real world.

Edit: Oh, so Hasbro are making a Skylanders type game; I completely missed that. Apparently it's for the B-Daman franchise... Wrong franchise, Hasbro. Wrong franchise.

I think the iPad game he's talking about is the Cars one?
I forget what it is called, but you buy these mini cars characters from the shops, download the app and you put them on your iPad and they drive around in the world. You have to move them around with your hand, of course. X3

Hmm.... I suppose they haven't mastered the techniques for this kind of game then.
I saw the ads for it and it didn't look all that good anyway. :/
