Your best bet is either ebay or amazon because Blue Bash was only at Toys R US in limited supply and he is now very hard to find

In that order of preference...eBay frankly is your only hope or find a buddy. And you will most assuredly pay over $30 to include shipping...nowadays $40 shipping inclusive is not a bad deal if you want boxed...raw can be had a few dollars less.

Find a loose Bash and paint him blue, or like mentioned previously eBay. Being reasonable to judgement it would be better to get him while he is $30 than waiting for him to be $60 $90 so on and so forth. This is of course is dependent on how much you really want him. I personally do not foresee Blue Bash's price dropping. If you can find a good deal, take it while you can, otherwise the opportunity may never present itself again. Good Luck

Or, instead of painting a figure that's supposed to be CLEAR blue, look for an unsealed one, then repackage it.

I was not serious on the painting part, but Matteo does make a good point. If somehow you manage to get a loose Blue Bash for a good price, and a sealed reg S1 Bash at a good price, you can come out on top. You will still end up paying more than retail, and you will have to go thru the trouble of safely repackaging. Can it be done, yes, would I do it, no.

For me it would be cheaper and easier to just get him at the current going rate online. I am one of the fortunate who got him.

When looking for Skylanders at any retail store I dig thru the giant baskets, search thru every peg, and go into the other isles with anything related to Skylanders. Some employees like to put stuff where they think it goes instead of where it is actually designated to be. Most people just look at what's right in front of them instead of taking the time out to search and dig. This is what has helped me get certain figures that others seem to never find.
