I didn't buy a Happy Meal box off of Ebay, but when going to my local McD's to buy all 9 toys, I grabbed one of the posters they had inside McD's, advertising the toys and Molten Hot Dog, and I asked the employee for a box that wasn't made up yet. He gave me one for free.

Only got drobot, tree rex, spyro and crusher today. Debating holding off till mon/tues as a mcdonalds near me does a 1.99 any happy meal offer then. Could get the whole family mcdonalds for dinner. I just fear these toys may sell out before then, skylanders is a hot thing.

Before you ask, toys here in NY are $2- $3 alone. Some mcdonalds dont even sell them alone, i learned this hunting for smurfs a summer or two ago.

I kind of want a bunch of him now, to try to fill my childhood void of never being able to get the Taco Bell glider. He's a tiny bit top-heavy, so on one of my spares to paint, I'll fill in his hollow tail and legs with epoxy or something to weigh it down. --- #all Spyros are valid

Same with mine, just Gill, Rex and Spyro. Been to about 4 different ones in the area and same story at each. Oh well got 3 for my desk at work and 3 for my daughter to play around with at home.

Also thought I'd mention I tried using the coupon today. First tried it at Sam's Club for the 3DS starter and they told me they don't accept coupons for that item. Went to WalMart and they took it.

It depends on the location... I am in the Indy metro area and to buy the toy alone it's less than $2... I've just been buying the toys alone because I rarely ever eat fast food! lol

I'm waiting till thursday, my nearly local mcdonalds has a kids night, meals are 1.99 even the 4 piece nugget meal. Figure I'll just take teh family out and finish my collection then.

the mcdonalds here is slowly working through the first 3 still. I was lucky on sunday to get all of them except crusher and kaos as I'm mostly waiting for those 2 to be put out. My guess is they'll start working through more of them here by mid week.

I got the remaining figures we needed to complete our set today.

I went in at the very beginning of the lunch hour when they were not busy and asked what figures they had. The manager overheard me saying that I was on a quest for my DS and he asked to get all the figures and she offered to bring out the customer appreciation box. She helped me dig through the box to find the ones we needed. Yay, for nice managers!

Chop Chop, plus about 5 others that I needed for my bagged set. So I'm 9/9 opened, 8/9 bagged and my 2 boxes from the other day round out to me being almost done. I'll probably hit the McD she went to and get that last Chop Chop so I can just be done.

Were the coupons only released in certain areas or with certain toys or something? I checked the box and in the toy bag and didn't see a coupon anywhere in there. I got the Kaos one if it matters.
