You mean they were released around those months. If they were made in a month, the developers would be able to pump out a LOT more games. <.<;

The epilogue of GtG/RR did actually reveal that Ripto survived. That led of course to the happenings in ETD. Gnasty's future was more unclear at first but due to STD being the first game, it was hard to tell whether Gnasty died or not (storyline-wise) but still the epilogue of YotD revealed that Gnasty is obviously alive. But answer to "how exactly?" can only be conducted from fan fictions.
