Interesting. If you look at my post #27 on 3/18/13 the links originally had a release date of 4/19/13. Now when you click on the links it shows a release date of 4/5/13, which is Friday.

It actually looks like 5/4/2013 which is the first Saturday in May

Last minute? This change has been known for months. I think its a good idea because it would be another Swarm. With only one of his potions lighting up if they kept the old design

If you ask me, there's probably a bunch of them sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting for stores to order them. Unless a lot of the LCs start moving, I have doubts we'll be seeing Pop (or regular LC Chill for that matter) for couple weeks.

I'd like to be wrong though... LC Pop Fizz looks totes rad.

Yawn. Almost a month now. Nothing in the US. This is getting silly. The sightings on Ebay are using stock photos from a listing on Ebay.de. If someone has them in the west coast, they probably bought them from overseas.

I've never ever ever ever seen a game release there stuff so dam late...I'm very disappointed...wat good is lightcore pop-fizz, lightcore hex, lightcore chill, and S2 Drobot..going to be...like for real..They are so lucky..I like to finish wat i started...Thanks to activision and TFB for taking the fun out the game...

so Lightcore Chill seems like the thunder was taken since it's simply a recolored model of the Legendary. Pop Fizz though is tied with Prism Break on being one of the best lightcores to date.

All Legendaries are recolored models. There is one regular for each element, one giant and one lightcore. In SSA, they came in a 3 pack and a single pack. For Giants, a single pack, a 3 pack, a giant and a lightcore. So basically they got one for each SKU type for each game. They aren't going to do unique models for them.

Don't forget Jet Vac, his lightcore is also really nice, and I personally think Shroomboom's is good too. Chill's is nice to me because the light is where she has struck the spear into the ground, like sparks are flying from it - but I see why some feel the whole spear should be illuminated (but that would require running the wiring through the model and very thin arms and legs of Chill into her hand for the light). Drobot and Eruptor are the only really disappointing lightcores in my opinion, particularly Drobot.

Yeah, I get that all Legendaries are recolored...guess I should've said it had no "pow" factor since we've already seen the figure from Legendary.

Drobot loses hands down...I think Shroomboom is probably third place for me...Jet vac is middle of the road--along with Eruptor. Really interested to see if LC Hex shows up Red like her images seems to suggest.

Pop Fizz is the only one I'm interested in, but because his skill trees are both so neat. I'm looking forward to having one figure on each path.

^Yep for sure, although I just got Punch so I'll end up with 3 Pops. Sigh...These remakes are getting old. Might have to go back to the simple Spyro days and just get one of each and call it done.

When I first read up on giants back in october they mentioned several of the variants and legendaries which is why I'm not getting some for my giants collection based on that. For example I was able to get granite crusher so I have no need for him as well as how I got legendary bouncer instead of the regular bouncer as well as legendary lightcore chill and I'm not getting the regular one. I think more people are going to do that for the third game, and to be honest instead of making the duplicates for lightcore they should have just added those that weren't made a series 2, atleast they would have been around and able to have a second series even if lightcore.

Unless you're a collector, it doesn't make sense. I'm buying them all boxed, but it kinda looks redonkulous to see 3 or 4 different poses of the same character on my shelf opened. It's ONLY nice to have an alternate pose for the path...that is IT.

It's only good as an in-game collection add-on. The 3 Chills are differentiated by their stats, which is why I'd like to add Lightcore Chill; to collect, compare, & face-off with regular Chill & Legendary Lightcore Chill. I'd also like to add Lightcore Pop Fizz to collect & compare with the twins Regular & Punch Pop Fizz. Too bad that Activision is screwy with their delivery methods...

I've decided not to collect series 2 because they're the same as series 1 really...reposed yes, but all the same. I'm just going for legendaries and possibly variants but not at silly prices. I might do series 2 at some point but...I have to prioritise since these things add up in real money really fast haha.

Seems like the best indicator for Lightcore Pop Fizz USA release is to wait for those of us who pre-ordered from TRU to receive our shipping confirmation email.

So my gamestop said try Monday. Eeh I'm tired of waiting.

How many Lightcore Chill & Lightcore Pop Fizz were available there. I'd like to get 2 of each. Address please?

EB Games Brimbank has them... I'm actually amazed, because I didn't preorder mine, and I haven't even been Skylanders hunting. I guess it's the final push to just finish Giants collection already.

It's about time we got something first again (too bad that they were crappy LightCore figures, but something nonetheless)

Pop Fizz's LightCore is not that white... It's more like Prism Break. In fact, it seems that he has Prism Break's LightCore recycled. Best LightCore available besides Drobot IMO(but I know everyone else hates Drobot)... Prism Break looks a bit fake since his shoulder crystals aren't lit at all and Jet-Vac is just silly in design, and all the others just suck. His backpack isn't lit which is a bit of lost potential, but when the portal is lit it's actually clear enough that it "lights through" naturally so it's all fine.
LightCore Chill is nothing spectacular at all but her LightCore is brighter than the Legendary if you like that. Not as bright as the picture, the iPad likes to make contrast ridiculous, but it's still brighter. It reflects better.
I'm interested in seeing LightCore Hex. If her LightCore is too bright it will look gaudy but it has potential...

Lightcore Chills effect kinda blows.

I like Lightcore Pop Fizz' Pose quite a lot.
And his light up isn't too shabby.

I think the pop fizz and chill pose look fine. And the light looks nice on both imo

Both lightcores look great...LC Chill looks improved over the Legendary to me. Still uninspiring, but better.

They will eventually come out so i'll wait for them, i don't wanna bother ordering and paying shipment online, there just regular figures not variants so for sure they will always have them in stock like the other lightcores i see in stores

Hopefully if I wait long enough after they release they will be 5.99 just like the rest of the lightcore figures are on amazon and even in my nearby Best Buy. Can't see why someone would pay $20+ for these just to get them earlier (other than those where they have already been released obviously!).

I think the stock is lowering at stores. So maybe something new soon.

I'm also in the camp that neither of these is an exceptionally special, "gotta have it ASAP" type figure. For one, we just had L. LC Chill come out. She's the same mold, objectively better in game, and even has a Legendary Narwhal summon; the plain LC Chill is for completion's sake only. I want Pop Fizz a little more, because he's definitely the most attractive version of the character from an aesthetic perspective, but again, we already have two versions of him, and Punch is better. Neither one adds a whole heck of a lot to the collection in-game, so why freak out? They'll be literally polluting shelves nationwide before you know it.
