new destinations.

lol....they continue to be spot on with their price points....
1st they insult us by putting a $25 price tag on a digital exclusive character....and now they put almost a $50 price tag on a "Companion" that will help me get adventures done quicker... Adventures that I don't need to go on, because I've been maxed out for a few months...lol

What I've learned about the "Companions".

1. Not all companions cost gems,some cost Gold, some I think are free.
   
2. Companions will walk around the islands like Skylanders and Mabu villagers.
   
3. All companions do or unlock something for the player.
   
4. Most companions we've seen in quests like Aura,Silena,Orville,and Frilly.
   
5. Not all cost 3000 gems,just Flynn.
   

As of now I am really irritated about the update. I can no longer build anything or add decorations or plant energy crops other than the first 2. The companions all say they a unlocked with a quest but what quests!?? I am not sure how to get anything unlocked and it has really ruined gameplay for me at the moment. Any suggestions?

Here are the goals required for these companions:

Silena: It’s Adventure Time
Crops: Energy and You
Dr. Haus: Complete the “Flynn’s Ship” goal
Frilly: Post Office

Have you completed these?

Yes. I am almost lvl 22 so I had already completed all of the goals previously. I ended up getting it to work. I had not updated my game on my iPhone 5 so I logged into it and everything was still available. I planted my higher crops, placed decorations, etc and then saved to the cloud. I switched back to my iPad 4 and then everything was available. I think I just fell into a glitch of some sort! Lol. It's all good now though.

Exactly same here. I'm level 18, but I don't have possibility to do what Self1nfliktd did.

After this update, and both my husband and I creating Activision accounts for ourselves, we've noticed that we can only use the web codes for Skylanders that we by with ONE Activision Account. Has anyone else run into this problem? I refuse to by gems to by characters that I already have, and I won't give my kids Activision Accounts because then they'll fight over who gets which character on their iPods.

Sadly this is how activate accounts are suposed to work.

Can we keep our current progress but de-activate our Activate accounts? I'd rather lose the social features and be able to play with my characters.

No once you activate it there is no way to de-activate it.

You can just log out, it goes back to the way it was before.

If you have the Bluetooth portal, that works. This is an awful upgrade for family players.

Oh wow..I guess I haven't downloaded this update yet.. Not sure that I want to..
