I noticed that there are lots of 'Best Spyro Game' and 'Favorite Spyro Game' topics, but suprisinlgy no 'Worst Spyro Game' topics. So here it is. What is your personal least favorite Spyro game of the bunch. I'm guessing popular choices will be 'Enter the Dragonfly', 'Fusion/Orange', 'The Eternal Night', 'Dawn of the Dragon', and any of the 'Skylanders' games. My least favorite HAS to be 'Spyro Shadow Legacy', that game is SO BORING! All the characters are really annoying (ESPECIALLY HUNTER) and I never have a good time playing it! Believe it or not I actually like 'Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly' quite alot. But that's just me, what do you think?

Shadow legacy too.

Out of the ones I've played, The Eternal Night. Out of the ones I haven't played but have heard about ect, Skylanders.

*Embraces ETD and Skylander (I KNOW, I KNOW, NAWT REAL SPYRO GAME, SOMEONE WILL MENTION IT) hate*

Probably Spyro Orange or ETD, thing is that I enjoyed both of them for at least a few reasons.

The only thing I find annoying about EtD is the old charater's voices, designs in some cases, and Spyro's slow charge. The theme and music are awesome. I like Chinese-Japanese stuff

Oh lordy... this is a problem. While I admit Shadow Legacy, Orange, and Enter the Dragonfly were problematic, Dawn of the Dragon is my least favorite. It was unbelievably frustrating for me. It had bad controls, a bad story, boring music, bland level design, and atrocious forced AI. =_="

DotD and SL are GREAT candidates,but hands down,ETD. At least the formers were playable;in my complete lack of patience I was able to get myself so stuck that I could never fight the true final boss. I know my copy of DotD got worse framerates the more I played it and SL had a glitch that keeps you from finishing the game(better not teleport away from Forgotten Worlds before finishing Red!);but it was a pirated copy and a ROM,so I can't really say that those are real glitches.
Boring or badly planned-wise,however,undoubtely DOTD is the worst. Beat-em-up with more button mashing TEN could ever ask for(and ALL of the bad level design,The Destroyer putting me in infinite loops while flying being the worst),and at least SL had creative puzzles.

I wonder why Shadow Legacy and Dawn of the Dragon are so highly rated on the site...

Spyro Fusion/Orange or maybe Season of Ice.

I can't see why DOTD gets so much hate.

I really didn't like A Hero's Tail. I don't know why, but I just didn't

Console: DotD but I do enjoy playing it sometimes still.
Handheld: Fusion.

Overall, Fusion is my least favorite.

I'd say Enter the Dragonfly followed by Season of Ice. I think we all know why Enter The Dragonfly... and Season of Ice because, I find that game to be a bit hard and involving a lot of retries to make only minimal progress towards the story line. (I still like the game, just not compared to other spyro games)

Orange and Ripto Quest come to mind.

Orange because the mini games become too difficult when trying to access Space Park.

Ripto Quest because I can't get past the first level due to the controls for my phone model.

I personally disliked none of them.

My least favorite is probably Dawn of the Dragon or Season of Ice. :P

I haven't played handheld versions, so I have no opinion on them. Console games are very good, but if I had to chose, EtD. This game seems soo unfinished

I expected to see many people say ETD is the worst, I'm surprised. Not that I hate it, I personally love that one.

For me it's a tie between A Hero's Tail and Enter the Dragonfly, with Shadow Legacy a close third. That said I haven't played every Spyro game so there may be a worse one for me out there.

Yeah,because the appearance of a single character makes a whole game bad. If that was the case reboots would never be sucessful.

They're both....purple and blue

I had seen that for many fans, the worst videogame was Spyro 4: Enter The Dragonfly. But, for me, it felt normal, good graphics for the first Spyro game for PS2, gameplay somewhat similar to the first Spyro (not in all detail), but I admit that the animation is terrible, but not to exaggerate.

ETD, polishing a turd

Skylanders, because it's jokes and "funny" bits are painfully annoying and corny, it's hell expensive (and don't say I hate it because I can't afford it because YOU are really the one getting ripped as I have better stuff to spend my money on, better yet games I find worthwhile), the milking of Spyro, and the over-obsessive fans who bash the other games. This is all my opinion, of course.

it's funny because the same can be said about most of the over-obsessive classic spyro fandom who bash skylanders every chance they get and its fans

@ThroneOfMalefor - That kind of justification is the reasonable one,I have no problem with it. (The game is really corny anyway,but that never made it less fun in my opinion)

Oh boy,I completely forgot about the AHT minigames from McDonalds. Those things had problems in all aspects.

Well I don't really bash other games and either way it's still annoying. I don't get what's funny.

TLOS, the whole series. I just find them boring and confusing

Orange wasn't too bad, but the main thing I didn't like was the side-scrolling. Gahhh D:

We can discuss the whole board about how Skylanders isn't just about Spyro's looks or the toys and someone is still going to judge the game without even touching it. Well,not as bad as Youtube comments can be,I guess.

Skylanders (If you consider it as part of the Spyro series): I didn't like the camera angles, the NPC's are boring, the music is ALWAYS the Same!!! (if you listen all the soundtracks of the game, you will notice that most of the OST are the same!!!) and other stuff. I got the game as Christmas present (2011) I spend HOURS to figure out every single detail and I manage to get every single trophie for this game (Platinum), so I play the game and I didn't like it (If you don't trust me, check my PSN Trophy Profile and you'll see)

Not criticizing,but,aside from the 3 variations of the Eternal Source levels for each part of the game,how come are the songs all the same? Stuff like Lair of Kaos sounds nothing close to,say,the Tech Source levels.The physical OST itself only includes one or two songs for each of the elemental levels plus an Arena Rumble theme.

Well, Skylanders Giants was a step up music-wise from Spyro's Adventure. It was also better in the sound mixing department. A lot of the music in Spyro's Adventure had problems with synching. @.@

Skylanders! Alternate choice instead of skylanders... I don't even want to SAY it. Put me into misery it did, and im STILL upset about.
