I live in Virginia and have 3 Wally's within 15 minutes of me and none of them have ever had him in stock and cannot tell me if they ever will. I lucked out and got mine online. I think it's going to depend on where you live but one thing not in our favor in the US is it has become available overseas so I'm sure stock over here has been cut.

Saw him when he first came out and grabbed two. I haven't seen him since then at any other Walmarts, so I assume they're just simply out of stock. Kind of makes me wonder if Walmart got wise and just decided to not restock like they've done with others- most stores STILL have stock of Red Drill Sarge or GITD Sonic Boom in.

Hopefully we'll see him again soon.

Yeah it is odd. You can still order GITD Sonic Boom in essentially unlimited supply on the web site. I'm guessing they chose to tone it down this time around.

It seems like none of the in-game variants seemed to stick around for long, even the Legendaries disappeared for a while.

Right, the scalpers in my area grab all the MHDs that appear at my local Walmart, so I've seen none there.
I got lucky and snagged him their website, thank God.

I don't think it is scalpers so much as everyone picking up 3 or more of them when they came out. Seriously, go back and look at the thread when they were first found, practically no one bought just one of them - just look at the images. They had to get one to play, one to keep packaged, one for their brother, one for their neighbor's kids, one for the guy on the corner that smells like mothballs, etc. Something about variants like this makes people go all hoarder mode and want to be Skylander Claus for everyone they know that has even mentioned Skylanders to them before.

Yes, there are scalpers too - but many of us regular fans that would never consider scalping are making our own significant contribution to the problem of rarity.

My area is plagued with eBayers.

Saw MHD for the 1st time at my local Walmart this morning since 2/26, they only had one and it looks like they just got around to setting up the "Easter" display as well. Still no MHD case.

I've seen them almost every time I've gone up to Walmart, but I live in Canada, so that might mean something. smilie
I bought a second one in hopes of trading him for a Polar Whirlwind, but it looks like Molten made his way over there and so I'm stuck with a second Molten Hot Dog. I'll probably sell him or give him as a gift to my friend.
---
I have a boxed Polar Whirlwind and a loose Scarlet Ninjijni to trade! Message me please! <3

Don't worry...just wait six months and they'll all be on eBay for $29.99.
