It has been confirmed by a German toy website, you can preorder them.

The only character I need from these two packs is Bash...hopefully they'll pack some singles of him in the newer cases along with these...

He will most likely be restocked, along with Slam Bam, and Ignitor.

Igniter has made some appearances at my local gamestop so I don't know if that is a sign or something.

Good thing I already got Ignitor in his triple pack back in December...

I guess that makes Triples 10 and 11 some combination of Drobot, Zap, Chop Chop, Jet-Vac, Cynder, and.. who knows. I'm sure they'll think of something. Hot Dog and Shroomboom in triples means, to me, that they're really milking this one dead.

Do you have evidence there will be more than 9 triples? We know gamestop's website has/had placeholders for 9 since launch. To me it sounds like S2 Drobot will be this year's Wham-Shell. I'd rather just buy the remaining singles i'm missing and forget about getting another hot dog and shroomboom.

Circumstantial evidence only, but the fact that Hot Dog and Shroomboom are already in singles, triples, AND battle packs means that such a fate is distinctly possible for Zap and Chop Chop as well. In fact, I'd be kind of surprised if that were not to happen, to be honest. Drobot will probably go with those two.

Gamestop only ever listed 9 triple packs. I think that's all they're going with, which is still 1 more than the first game.

I never expect to find them, because this whole Skylander shipping thing has gone back to sucking mode. It's been weeks since the Facebook page mentioned LC Pop and Chill were out. Still not 1 single sighting of them, as well as Triple Pack 7.

I was kinda hoping one of the remaining triples would be Jet-Vac/Drobot/Slam Bam

But the same website says the release date for the W4 lightcores is 4/1/13.

3 not 4. And considering those 2 will most likely get a sinlge too... Besides they probably just needed to have a character in their. They most likely don't want too many S2 3 packs.

Each figure has 4 packs. A single pack, battle pack, lightcore/variant single pack and now a triple pack.

I've only been lucky enough to find a Spyro...It was on that new Best Buy display behind like 9 different figures, and he was the only Spyro there. So glad I got him!

Though, I can see why they are treating them "as if they were any other character". Their soul gems are in the main game which is in contrast to the soul gems of the adventure pack characters in SSA being available only in that level.

However, I honestly think they know Battle Packs were a failed endeavor and are rectifying this.

Yeah easy to smell the desperation...Shroom Boom battle pack languishes at 17.99 and is ALWAYS available everywhere I check. However Zap and Hot Dog Striker sells briskly. I would actually say Shroom Boom is the problem, and they are trying to stuff mushrooms in our mouth.

Frankly, the skylanders are so overpowered in general these magic items are cute but not very useful. If you're big on having all of the items (along with all of the skylanders) then I guess you're buying. I did read somewhere they want to reconsider adventure packs in the next adventure.
