Yeah....those look pretty weak. My 6-year old is already talking about being a Skylander for next Halloween, but I would imagine there will be new, and hopefully improved, costumes out by the fall.

TRIGGERHAPPY SCARES ME

Gill grunt looks like aquaman (vaguely)

spyro looks like a mutant

Video Game/cartoon characters are often very hard to translate to human (you know, outside of like super heros). Bumblebee from Transformers is the ONLY costume I've seen each Halloween that has consistently been good.

That being said, not a single kid came by last year with a Skylanders costume. That was a bit of a surprise, but we did have high winds and it was cold from Sandy so...

Humans simply aren't proportioned like Skylanders enough to make a good looking cheap costume. To make one you would have to have a good amount of stuffing/support and that's not going to happen for a cheap $20 costume.

They should focus on the more human-shaped character like Chop Chop, that's why he came out better, LOL!
