Would be cool to get these and attach them to their appropriate bases and then use them in the game. Kind of a silly customized figure to add to your collection. With TRU having the SSA figures for $4.99 right now it would be cheap to get the bases for most of them.

OMG... Spyro at least looks cute.

What I'd wager:

Tree Rex and probably Ignitor and Crusher will light up.
Jet Vac, Spyro and Gill Grunt will shoot a projectile.
Drobot will flap, Chop Chop will probably move back and forth

Kaos is..well it's hard to guess. There could be a speaker on him somewhere, but the more likely gimmick will be that he's a pullback. He looks pretty flat around his base, which usually indicate it's a toy that has wheels on it. Maybe his head spins around or something

That's pretty weird. Have we actually ever seen Kaos with his hood up?

People were expecting a $1 toy to be as detailed as a $10 one? Have you seen McDonalds toys before?
They look nice for a $1 toy, you could easily touch them up with paint.

I think the toys look awesome. Obviously not for a full retail price, but for a happy meal toy I like them.

These "toys" are garbage ... just like McDonalds "food" is garbage.

I thought perhaps Kaos's head would spin. So you could either have his regular face or the floating head face from the first game. (I can't remember if he used that in Giants or not).

I think Kaos might talk and/or have a head feature.

It's interesting that they're using Kaos from SA...and not even the regular SA Kaos, but the one that was the basis for the Big head projection.

WOW those are horrible looking, no thought at all, I mean look at Crusher. What a joke.

Mega bloks are good though, they are highly detailed, articulated, and work with your lego. I have my skylanders for play in the game and display, and my mega bloks for accually physical playing.

It's a happy meal. Not a TRU with food. I'm actually quite impressed. Spyro is the best I'm my opinion, with Kaos a close second. Gotta get them all for my collection. XP

You people are hilarious. We throw away the happy meal toys we get within a day or two. Sometimes the same day. These things will be no different. But some people will be selling them on eBay, you can bet the farm on that.

^True, and as I thought, cheap little toys. As a collector, I'd like a set unopened, and willing to pay a Happy Meal without the food to get them. It actually comes as a good time as Giants starts to wind down, to keep the kids marginally interested.

I would expect some to sell them on eBay...some will want the toys but will be staying away from the restaurant...no problems from my perspective on that. Last time I checked capitalism is what runs our country--although it appears to be more of a shadow now in the dawn of a new socialist mentality.

these will be cool if they are huge like the avengers were.

I'll be waiting to see how much collectors want these. Might make a small profit in a few years

Hey now everyone don't be bringing down happy meal toys. I remember when they did Sonic the Hedgehog, Hot Wheels, and Beanie Babies toys. Those are by far the best detailed Toys McDonald's has put out.

With the few extra Spyro figures I get I'll be customizing one of them as Dark Spyro and another as Legendary Spyro.

And someone needs to clothe gill.

There's only one series that I look forward coming to McD, and that's Pokemon. The figures are pretty cute, and they usually do something neat. I have so many of the Oshawott Bobblers because they're ridiculously adorable.

And..you get promo TCG cards so I guess that's kind of the reason why.

These are ok as well, and I'm looking forward to getting some of them. Part of me loves the idea of being a kid again and going around hunting for things at McD...I used to do it all the time with my parents for Beanie Babies, the older Pokemon toys at BK, etc. It's a fun thing to do.
