Whats the best price you guys think i can find one at?

did activision just not make many of them or something? what happened?

It is, I found Pirate and Dragon in Target for $20

But Darklight Crypt I had to get on eBay and pay twice as much.

i think we may actually have it at my target o.O i may be able to pick it up for u if u'd like

I regularly see Darklight Crypt's in my local Tesco in the UK. I resist the urge to buy them and sell them on eBay every time.

They are playing a mind game with us. They know DC and Boomer have pent-up demand.

im still missing a few of the original skylanders from the first game as well. Like 5 or 6 of em.
I found 4 i didnt have by going to 3 different toys r us stores during this sale, but i assume il have to do ebay for the rest of em.

Anyone that can sell a dark light to me around cost, pm me. If its around NYC i'm willing to drive to the store that you saw one in.

Activision is still shipping out cases of the Adventure Packs. They consists of two each of all the Adventure Packs *except* Darklight Crypt. That's why you can find everything but that one.

Go to ebay and search the newly listed BIN and keep checking periodically. That's how I scored a Ghost Roaster for $8 with free shipping. I also saw a Ghost Roaster with the Crypt (no magic items) sell for $21 BIN shipped last week. It's not impossible to find good deals on eBay.

I'm going to recommend target on this simply because as others have stated they do ship the adventure packs to the first game still. Darklight Crypt came in last friday here again along with the other two but only one of them did in the box.

I agree with tigerdr. The only place I've ever seen Darklight Crypt is Target.

^ Agreed, Target appears to be the only stores that restock Darklight. I've seen 4 packs, at 3 Targets, in the last 2 weeks where they weren't available prior.

What, don't you just do a search, find most expensive item BIN first, and hit it?

I'm curious--are you able to get them cheaper--are you looking for mis-spelled words?

I found one recently at my local Walmart and had to pick it up since it was the last adventure pack i needed. It only cost me $20. It was the last one there but good luck trying to find them, i saw some more at my local Best Buy but Toysrus has nothing.

I must be looking in all the wrong places... Or just unlucky hahaha

Go to Walmarts on Tuesday mornings because that is when the get their shipments and try BestBuy on Wednesdays. Always check online for their stock, and whatever you do, DO NOT buy from Ebay! Good Luck

You guys clearly don't know how to use it to your advantage. Oh well, that leaves me all the bargains.

There is no doubt that Darklight Crypt is one of the hardest Skylanders items to find in retail stores over the past 3 months.

I've looked exhaustively .... everywhere ... all over two major metro areas in the USA during that time ... probably 150 stores total ... and I've only laid eyes on four (4) Darklight Crypts during that time span.

So ... they are out there, but in very, very limited quantities, and you can be sure that in most places, they do not stay on the shelf very long. In my experience, your best shot is Target or Sam's Club, but both are long-shots (better than no shot, at least). If you don't have the patience and/or mental resolve to stomach potentially weeks or months of "hunting" for Ghost Roaster, your best bet is to just bite the bullet and hit up Ebay.

I'd say that $30 is the bare minimum price for an auction right now on Gnarly Tree Rex. You *might* be able to find one selling that low once in a while, but not very often. Looking at the Gnarly Tree Rex sales that recently ended on Ebay, you're probably going to have to pay at least $35 for Gnarly Tree Rex.

For better or worse, if you (or anyone else) wants to buy Gnarly Tree Rex, Royal Double Trouble, Punch Pop Fizz, Ghost Roaster, Granite Crusher, or Boomer off EBay, you're looking at $30-$40 each for these characters. It's all supply and demand, and right now the supply is low and demand (relatively) high for these characters. It was different characters 6 months ago, and it will probably be different characters 6 months from now. But there will always be some that are really hard to find.

I am under the impression that they're reprinting all of the Adventure Packs now!!! I just saw a TON of ALL FOUR Adventure Packs at the Walmart I was at yesterday!! I wasn't there to buy Skylanders, but still took a peek and they have a TON of stocked items right now!! Quite a plethora of all of the Giants and LOTS of SSA Adventure packs!! Go check out or call your local Wally-World, seems to me they are being remade and restocked now!! Good Luck!!!

No luck on gnarly or dark crypt yet, but someone on ebay (in germany or somthing) agreed to sell me a Polar Whirlwind for 18.00... unfortunately it turned out that 18.00 for them is 25.00 for me, but it still seems like a good price.

Like you, I've pretty much given up on finding one....Since they are on the way to work I usually check the local Wally World and Gamestop once a week on the off chance I may luck up and they have one. Wal-Mart regularly gets shipments of all the other packs but no DC.

Everyone here saying there are loads of DC should date-posted pics. Personally, it's like finding a unicorn. Same for SSA Boomer and Zap single packs.

I recently stumbled upon a DC at a target in the Cincy area. Of course I already bought one on Ebay. Since they are hard to find I bought this one and in turn sold it on Ebay. After the sale it worked out that in the end I paid retail for mine. I always try and keep a look out for these but it seems only the other 3 adventure packs are common in my area.

Yea I found a bunch at Target in Beaumont Texas and a few at the toysrus here in Lake Charles Louisiana. If you have those stores around I'd check everyday.

Could it be part of the demand is because there is no S2 Ghost Roaster figure? I don't think there is a single for him either.
Certainly the GR figure on ebay is most of the cost of the pack, the Crypt and magic items sell for peanuts compared to him.

Speaking of which, what's up with S2 Slam Bam in the UK? Impossible to find and all the sellers have hiked his price well up.
(I only have S1 Slam Bam from a cheap Ice pack)

^S2 Slam Bam has global visibility in lack of inventory. It's not just UK. In fact, I only saw him once or twice, near launch time. glad I picked up a couple of him then.

Sorry to high jack the thread but dis we establish if anyone willing to grab a couple if they see them? I will gladly pay for your time and shipping, as long as you don't charge something like $100. My son is really wanting ghost roaster. I am trying to collect them also. I always try to buy two of each skylander I find. I live in Charlotte and have my parents in Memphis looking too and no luck. I can't see paying $60 for some open ones. That's nuts.

I have a sealed one to sell.

You should join "Team Charlotte"! There's a handful of us that are fairly active on this board recently that live in/around Charlotte.

Teamwork can really pay off sometimes, although Darklight Crypt is a tough mark even for a highly-coordinated group, in my opinion.

BLAST!!!!! Almost finally got a Darklight Crypt for 9 dollars on ebay but as soon as it was posted, it was sold. I was too slow
