Guys,
So my son has Giants on Wii, I have it on PS3. I've noticed that there's very little delay when you place the skylander on the portal to receive the entrance on the Wii version, but on the PS3 version there's a very noticeable delay (to the point you're wondering if it's going to happen).
I've watched youtube videos to confirm the behavior, so it doesn't appear to be a glitch on my system.
Can anyone else confirm the behavior if you have multiple releases, and if so has Activision acknowledged this as a "problem" and/or have a fix?

Yeah, another PS3er here, it's a bit nerve-wracking but I've come to deal with it. I remember being shocked at how fast the characters got on when playing it on my friend's wii but the graphics were just awful!

Happens with mine, it's just the delay of the portal and the game processing the save data, and being able to bring up the game. It also depends on what portal, like the GiTD has the delay.

what you see here is the wii cpu vs ps3 cpu powers in action. the ps3 is more powerful so it is snappier....

The Wii has the quickest 'Lander loading time, though Thumpback takes forever and just stands there.

I play it on the PS3 and I have noticed the delay ONLY with the GITD Portal of Power... I switched it to the extra wired Wii portal I kept with Gnarly (I sold the Wii, other figures and the game) and it works perfectly fine now!! I switched portals because of the GITD portal not saving properly- I lost coins and levels and decided to switch out the portals... it magically resolved the delay issue too!! As cool as the GITD portal looks, it has some major technical flaws that show up with time...!!

i can say the same about you because this post was the first time i heard anyone had any problem with ps3 delay of skylanders. all i have heard there was a delay problem with the skylanders wii. just saying.....
