Ganim watched the others cross before deciding to do the same. The group had made its mind and he was somewhat curious about the dragon. Might as well see how this turns out... Upon making it across, he stayed slightly away from the others. He wanted to watch, but wasn't all that interested in participating.

Ganim merely watched, giving off a slight growl and motioning towards the fallen beast to get the others' attention. Ah... trapped. I know that feeling. (He thought...)

Ganim ceased his growling and looked at the dragon with a look of curiosity. The wolf's glowing red eyes hid much of his emotion, but it was evident that this was no mere wolf. Though he was unable to communicate it via any normal means (not yet anyways...), the fallen beast could see that the golden beast had some intelligence to it... more so then any originally wolf.

Ganim sort of shrugged, indicating that he was now somewhat unsure of the fallen dragon. 'Perhaps..,' he silently thought to himself. He was starting to desire the ability to normally communicate... the way any intelligent creature ought to. Growls, grunts, and motions could only tell so much...

Farley made her way to a wing and looked at the trees.
"We ought to leave these for last, in case he gets it in his head to try something."
Homba, on the other hand, had reached the dragon's mouth. She uncapped a blue potion and gently let it run inside.
"This amount won't be enough to do much, but it'll keep him alive until we can figure something out that won't involve putting him in an advantageous position.

Homba nodded. By that time, Zelda had reached the great beast.
"He's too weak to get up," she observed. "It's probably safe to take those trees off of him..."
Farley gave a contemptful snort.
"All that after he tried to kidnap you? Sorry, Princess, as much as I respect you, I don't think this is your forte."
Thatch, who had followed Zelda looked over the beast and gave Farley a nudge. Farley sighed.
"Oh, alright."
She began to slowly move the debris from Soron's wing.

As Farley finishes with Soron's wings, Zelda places a hand on him.
"He'll be able to move if we just leave him alone for a bit."
Farley stands close to the dragon's head, as if ready to make a sudden advance.
"We're waiting, beast."

Link scanned the dragon's open areas, especially the wounded points, "Isn't likely he will be getting away with anything anytime soon." he pulled a lone arrow out, "And if he does," he tapped a scale around the exposed area, "you know where this arrow is going."

"Your welcome for saving your life." Xaronec said sarcastically as Maro left him there. Hearing a dog barkin at him, he turned his dark glove to the source to find it was a mere pup, "One of those things these humans call a dog. A young one at that..." he used the glove's power to bring the animal closer without causing harm, "Why are you out here alone?" he looked around at some dead citizens and burning buildings, "Oh yeah." he let the pup go from the magic to hold it firmly in his hands. It was a black and brown spotted white healer with dim blue eyes, "Too young to fend for yourself... Might as well take you along so you can grow, maybe even battle along side my sword." he laughed maniacally, "Oh I'm over thinking it." he walked over to his horse to rest the small dog on the saddle as he went to retrieve some undamaged meat from one of the stands in the square, This should cover him for a while... Or is it a she...? Doesn't matter. he shrugged returning with the food to place it in a saddle bag that he attached to the front.

From where he was laying and waiting, Ganim got up and showed up beside Link. He growled at Soron, adding to the threat.

Link put the arrow away to look down at the bright wold, "Now why are you so oddly familiar?" he knelt down, "If so... Why were you chained up?"

Xaronec rode out of town with his new pet riding in front of him on the saddle, held down by his resting hand. Riding off toward the fallen dragon, catching up to Maro quickly.

Taking a good look at Link, Ganim appeared lost in thought for a moment and then merely shrugged. It was a wolfish attempt at indicating that he didn't know.

"You're not in a position to give orders here." Link said quite bluntly without moving. "Hold on..." he looked down the wolf's side, "You're," he flashed back to his dog days, seeing a golden wolf attop a hill, usually across from him as they howld together, the songs he required to save the land, "You're the wolf who help me get this far, and stop Ganondorf. How come you are here instead of that spirit realm you trained me in? In fact, can't you talk and transform into an ancient warrior?"

Ganim merely tilted his head, as if in disbelief. He opened his mouth as if about to say something, but quickly closed it and shook his head. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but couldn't communicate it via any wolfish means. However, an idea soon popped in his head and he proceeded towards part of the ground where grass was lacking. He looked at his paw for a moment and starting scratching marks in the dirt using an single claw. When he was done, an message was written in the dirt... "cant remember anything". He looked back at Link and motioned towards the message. Based on his ability to apparently write, he had human intelligence. It was evident, however, that something had happened thus causing him to lose most of of his human side. Part of that was the ability to speak, though it could possibly be relearned/re-accessed.

Homba's eyes widened.
"Well, we're certainly having an eventful day," she sighed. "I think I can teach him to talk. It's difficult to do, in a quadrupedal form, but I've been able to manage before.
Her form shrunk yet again into that of a small white fox. She sat in front of Ganim and started attempting to form the word "Hello."

Zelda knelt down beside Link and took to observing the wolf with him.
"They named him Ganim," she explained. "He was in the dungeon when-" she paused, attempting to remember the name of her first rescuer- "Farley told me to flee there, and where I met the imp." She pointed at Thatch, who was stading beside Farley as they watched the dragon.

"Got any ideas, imp?" Farley asked, turning to her small purple companion.
Thatch shrugged, laying a tiny hand on Soron.
"Well, one thing is for sure, we have to move him before his cronies get here," she laid a hand on Soron.
"Can you get up and walk?" she asked.
Thatch rooted about Homba's satchel, which was laying on the ground, and pulled out a jar containing some hot spring water.

Thatch took the jar from the satchel, Homba too busy to notice. She made her way to the injured leg and allowed the spring water from the jar to run over the wound slowly.

"How about now," Farley asked, peering behind to see if the villains were still approaching.

Ganim sat and carefully observed. After a short while, he tried to form the word himself. At first, all that came out were growls. Those growls, however, slowly began to turn into sounds. "Grr... Grell...Grello..." He managed to get to the end part, but the beginning of the initial growl remained. He kept on it though and eventually managed the full word... "Grello... Gello... Hello.." The word still sounded somewhat wolfish, but was at least complete. This would probably take awhile, but he was determined to learn.

Homba nodded approvingly and looked up at Zelda for advice as to what to do next. The Princess responded.
"He'll figure out other words on his own. We need to get going quickly."

"Hot spring water," Farley answered. "You should be able to stand and walk now."

Ganim thanked Homba with a nod and got up from where he was sitting. Well, it's a start... (he thought)

"Well," Link took hold of a piece of Soron's armor, "You can't be trusted so early." he hopped up onto the dragon's back, just behind the exposed area on it's back. "From here, I control what you do, or we could do without a dragon." he tapped his sword.

Xaronec stopped in front of Maro, "You aren't just going to run up in their group by yourself are you? You are outnumbered at least four to one."

"He won't go anywhere if he feels threatened," Farley warned, giving Link a knowing look and glancing at her ax as if to say "I've got it under control."
Homba reverted to her human form and walked over to where Thatch was to retrieve the satchel.
"Funny, I didn't think that spring water would stay hot for that long," she said, shouldering the satchel.
Thatch darted gleefully over to Ganim and propped herself up, preparing to mount the wolf. Zelda gave her a warning glance but the little imp didn't seem to care.

Ganim sighed and motioned for the imp to get on. He wasn't particularly fond of being ridden, but realised that he would probably owe alot to the group in the upcoming days. This was the least he could do...

Homba turned back to see Thatch sitting happily atop Ganim and shook her head.
"Imps have small legs, she can't carry on like we can. If you get to a point where you don't want to be ridden, we could trade off. Right now I need to have my potions handy."

Ganim nodded, as if to say he understood. In other words, I'm going to be used as an imp's personal mount... lovely. (he thought) He let off a slight growl, showing discontent to Thatch.

Thatch was taken slightly aback by the growl, and proceeded to cease any unnecessary movement in an attempt to minimize her presence on Ganim's back.

OOC: I thought Soron was in a weakened state :/

Link gripped the plate that had been broken from the strike down. Pulling the sword from its sheath, "Get back down on the ground!" he let the cold blade touch the exposed area, "I done want to have to do this." the blade was not in a position to cause harm... Yet.

Xaronec looked up over his should seeing Soron fly up out of nowhere, "Well we are now sure of their location."

OOC: I'll accept that for now, as long as there's some hinderance that grounds him. Adrenaline wouldn't have that great of an effect for very long :/

Farey stood and watched.
"He won't be able to stay up for long," she mumbled to Homba, who was now standing next to her. Zelda began to panic slightly.
"Link, I think you should get off of him," she called, keeping her composure.

Farley smirked a little, waiting for Soron to give up. Homba just shook her head as Zelda maintained a worried gaze. Thatch was growing quite bored, but still refrained from figeting.

"Great," Farley remarked. "Fly up and give our position to the enemy, then hinder us by insisting on rest." She shook her head and glared angrily at the ground. Homba thought for a moment, then looked at Thatch.
"Say, can't imps learn how to warp?"

Ganim, in response, proceeds to walk towards the now grounded dragon. He lets out a much louder growl and shakes his head, as if to warn Soron.
