THIS would be why you shouldn't be too reliant on auto-correct, you miss catching stuff yourself... smilie

And I'm SO glad you said she arrived by normal post! I had read somebody say that they got her through DHL because they take Royal Mail (the company/whatever who is delivering Scarlet) packages. DHL around here is atrocious, pathetic and deserves to go out of business. Normal mail is EXCELLENT news for me! My expected date is the end of this week, so I still have waiting to do.

Well, TBH I'm not 100% if she arrived normal post, as my dad took the post, but there was letters on top of the package, so either the package came first and my dad put letters on top of it when they arrived, or they all came together. I didn't ask tbh. But I've always recieved amazon orders via normal post, so why should amazon.de be different.

Well, I've had my Amazon orders vary from either USPS or UPS. It can depend on your country. I'm in the US and I've yet to see her. Did you get her in a box or an envelope? I'm really really hoping mine arrives undamaged. I don't care as much about the package itself as the figure though, since I don't leave them sealed unless I have extras or they're a present for someone.

She arrived in a box, so no worry of her getting damaged. I do have to say I am disappointed in her paintwork around her ears, but other than that she is a fantastic giant

Just got mine today!! Have the pic of the box and the paper they used to fill space...yeah that's odd I know. But she came in perfect condition so I can't complain right? Hope you all get them nice and safe too! Pics below:

http://i.imgur.com/AUJ0cwF.jpg

The box has amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.co.uk listed so it seems it's a generic europe box. That's very interesting. You know, considering how much trouble I had unboxing regular ninjini I'm thinking I'll try to cut the packaging off of her rather than twisting and turning and hoping not to break her. Let you know if it works out.

**Update**

Ok! One thing you definately need to keep in mind is that cut plastic is sharp!! This is not a method recommended for children so do not let your kids do this please!! First, I pulled the bottom hinged packaging off the figure base. I kept any cut edges away from my fingers. Try focusing on the swords first. You cut in several places, and pull them away from the swords, mostly bending the packaging, not the fig if you can. Once it's away from the sword, cut along to get it off. I cut the packaging around the sword to my left (the fig's right, when you have the box facing you), and then started on the one on my right. The packaging on her main body started to break away and so there was less cutting I needed to do for the right sword to get it loose. After pushing the plastic off her hand for the last sword, the whole fig sorta just came out, and very cleanly. It looks like this method can work, but if you're worried about being sliced you can use gloves. I didn't, but I was careful.

All in all, she looks really good! What's funny is I can now see she's got a "bite" taken out of her ear. It's not that noticeable from the front, but with a view from below, you can see there's something missing. Heh. I don't mind! If any of you collect for such things, you should probably check yours first though. It's not so important that it'd warrent a posting on ebay as a mistake (it's so tiny and it's just silly), but you know, just saying you should check anyway.

Oh yeah! I'm in Washington state USA if that helps you get an idea for when yours should be coming in!

Funny, mine had what looks like a bite on the war too. I thought it was just mine, so didnt mention it, as it don't bother me. But as its happened to yours, it could be a generic thing and be on everyone elses

Yeah, please post a pic... And my regular Ninjini had an extra fringe on her ear... Didn't notice it at first but I did later on. I could probably trim it, but it's so minor I'm not sure I want to risk scratches and slips, damaging her myself.

It's not a big deal to me really. I noticed that my regular Ninjini has a poor paint job on the hair though. It looks like it was originally black and painted red. When you compare them there are places on Ninjini's armbands that suggest they were spots from a mold or something....not perfect, but I'm not terribly picky. I just notice these things and go "meh". These are mass-produced so it's sadly a given that the figs will have some flaws.

I'm probably going to get one with a gift card I got for amazon. Will american gift cards work for Germany? Anyway, I don't mind too much, I'll keep mine in the box. As for the hair paint, all my female humanoids have poor hair paint jobs with black showing through, so no biggie

Why are so many people buying multiple? Also, how much is shipping, and how long did you have to wait to get them?

All told, she was $30 Canadian + change (as in to say, it was under $31). That's Scarlet, whatever charges and shipping, and exchange. Last I knew Canadian and American dollars were almost the same. So to me, that's exactly double the price from the store, less the taxes.

And yay! Got mine! (I'm in Canada, Montreal specifically)

FYI, I didn't "choose" standard shipping, it was the only "option" available, I had no choice. Estimated delivery, 7 - 10 days.

The original estimate was that she would arrive between March 22 (today) and April 1. Later estimates changed that to March 23 (tomorrow, Saturday... Weird) to April 1. Got the Attempted Delivery notice yesterday! (Don't want to say "They first tried to deliver her yesterday" as I'm fairly convinced that my postal worker never actually tries, he just leaves the "It's here, go get it" notice). Wasn't available for pick up at the post office until today. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no customs charge, just signed for it and left!

Haven't unpackaged her yet, but she was well padded in the Amazon box (lists like all the European Amazon sites, including UK, so I'm guessing they all use the same boxes). Packaging and paint job are 100%, no visible damage or bad paint job from what I can see. I can confirm that she indeed has nail polish, now I have to check my regular Ninjini to see if she has nail polish or not, LMAO!

My regular Ninjini doesn't have nail polish. So if yours turns out to have some, then it might be unusual. It's interesting how many people on here wanted more than one scarlet. I am content with one. When I mentioned to my bf about her, he didn't seem to care, which was why I didn't try to get one for him. It's good that they arrived near the actual time they said they should. I was worried about customs giving them trouble, but it seems they went through fine. I'm very curious when we'll see her in a store stateside though.

One warning: My Scarlet looks fine, but her light-up effect is weird. On normal Ninjini, the upper half of her face lights up, with her mouth and ears staying dark, looking like she's wearing a ninja mask. SUCH a nice effect! One of my favourite Lightcore effects! Maybe most! But Scarlet.... Euh. A picture is worth 1,000 words:

My guess: They paint/coat the parts inside her head where the light shouldn't shine through, and the paint job was bad. I'm guessing during assembly her hair is off like a jack-o-lantern. I'm tempted to try removing the hair to try to fix it, but she's better right now than what COULD happen. What if I can't re-secure her hair properly after?

And yeah, the camo face paint effect is the impression I'm getting too. smilie Looks like the coating is too thin beneath her left eye (our right), maybe that's what's on her nose.

I checked my ninjinis and both the scarlet and the regular have some problems though not quite as bad as with yours. I'd have to agree that it's a poor paint job as far as letting the light shine through the right places. At least it doesn't look bad without the illumination.

I'm in Canada, but when I ordered it, it declared right off the bat when I placed my order that tracking information wouldn't be available. My impression is that this is because of not being in Germany, or at least being in North America. Either that, or because of coming via standard mail (Royal Mail there), which we have to because of being in North America, so it amounts to the same thing. I doubt you'll find anybody applicable who got tracking info.
