It's funny how the demo on the other game disc has different levels to the official demo that was released, because the one what was "officially" released has Skelos Badlands, and Sunny Beach on. The same goes for the Spyro 1 demo too, for the "official" release you accessed, the Artisans, Stone Hill and Dark Hollow, yet in the game disc of Crash 3, you access, the Artisan's, Town Square and Sunny Flight. I picked Shady Oasis, I think it's a beautifully designed level, it feels very open, and there are lots of vibrant colours to look at. I enjoy all of the challenges and yeah, from that list, it's the best one for me. I was thinking about Magma Cone, it's a great level, but the thing that puts me off it is the challenge with Hunter, I really have to be lucky to beat those two challenges, especially the second one, so Magma Cone comes at a close second. Fracture Hills is alright, the enemies are interesting, but other than that, all the challenges can be very annoying, and require a LOT of concentration. I think the speedways are very annoying, they feel like a chore to me, and in Gulp's Overlook, you basically have to just mess around for quite a while to beat him. Doesn't really feel like you need a strategy in defeating him. It just feels a bit random. I like the arena though. |

I don't like classic Spyro, but I'm fine that there is Spyro polls, but they seem to last forever. |

My fav is Shady Oasis.
I had trouble with Magma Cone & Gulp's Overlook when I was little. And those bushes in Fracture Hills creep me out. Also never liked any speedways in any Spyro game. |

Fracture Hills: Like it. Has two of the hardest, stupidest Orb Challenges, though
Magma Cone: Love it! Third fav level in the entire game Shady Oasis: Oh my god, I despise this level! It is the epitome of bad in my book and probably the worst level in the entire series. Bad level design, boring music, the level's plot makes no sense, and it's basically copying Scorch. It's so mundane and lame, imo Metro Speedway: Love it! It's like Wild Flight but not as condensed Icy Speedway: Love it! My favorite speedway level in the game and, if it counts, fourth fav level in the game Gulp's Overlook: Love it! Fifth fav level, and probably the best boss in the original trilogy (not counting the final boss)

Fracture Hills is my favorite, so I chose that, but I also like Magma Cone. In Magma Cone, I like how the small Fauns/satyrs(or whatever they are) used different methods to defeat the enemies with your help.

There are 4 home worlds in Spyro 2. There are 32 brand new characters in the new Skylanders game. Pretty sure the Skylanders ones are the ones that last 'forever'. Be patient. On topic, Shady Oasis. I really liked watching the little snail Riptocs (or whatever they're called) eating the apples. I dunno why but I found it really cute.

Tough choice between Gulp, Magma Cone, and Shady Oasis...
Eh, Magma Cone. I do love the Gulp battle lots though, I like hitting him and when he jumps up, throwing you in the air, I like flying behind me to the little ledge/cave to hide from him.

Magma Cone. I really like the structure and layout of the level, especially the part with the volcano. I also really enjoyed the challenge where you flew around spitting rocks at Lava Monsters. I know a bunch of people tend to complain about the crystal gathering against Hunter, but I didn't have too much of a problem with it. <.<;

I've got to go with the Fracture Hills here. It is just amazing level with the most challenging and time-taking missions. The alchemist, headbashing the earthshapers, supercharge.... just plain wonderful and very nice level. Figuring out the skill point gave a strong feel of achievement. Altough I think that this level's main quest suffers from severe case of boredom, it still is my favourite level of the game.

This. Though Shady Oasis is not that lame, I too find the music and the plot too boring. But my vote went to Fracture Hills. It was very beautiful, but as you said, the Orb Challenges were lame. The main reason why I picked it it's because I had the Satyr's song stuck in my head for weeks Trivia: Did you know that when you let a pig (fodder) alive and close to a Satyr, they will stand in two and dance as the song passes?

Shady Oasis. Loved the music, loved the characters, the structure of the level... the genies! I always love it when they laugh after striking you with a sphere of magic, lol.
I was on the edge of picking this or Metro Speedway... and Dragons-Go-Hrr, I think they were winged hippos.

I'll go with Magma cone, seeing 'earthshapers' getting destroyed in various ways was really cool, I loved climbing the volcano at the end, and the superflight to kill those red things. only hated the popcorn challenge....

Fracture Hills, easily best level in the whole game. Besdes Hurricos, the only one I actually remember very well at all after recently replaying it. I freaking love SUPERCHARGE.
Magma Cone had a fun challenge at the end of the level, but Hunter's challenge killed it for me. |

^I totally agree with you in there, but keep in mind that the newest games are the most accessible to the public, while older games are nearly impossible to get. Some of then you can only get them through Internet shopping, and keep in mind that this is a young generation where the items purchased are the newest ones.
Still, if someone ever gets the chance to at least try one of the classic games, don't overlook it. If you like Skylanders, then at least know the games that made it exist in the first place.

I love Classic Spyro the best but ****ing honestly? What's the definition of a "true spyro fan"? Someone who likes all Spyros? Lolno.
There is no such thing as a "true spyro fan." If you like any kind of Spyro (for example, LoS), then you are a fan of that Spyro. You may not be a fan of all Spyros, but that doesn't mean you aren't a "true fan" because you don't like them all. It's not like you aren't a fan of that particular Spyro (example, LoS) if you dislike one of them (example, Classic).
