edit: I think that Best Buy was offering a free Skylanders lunchbox with starter pack purchase? Or is that an old offer? Maybe they would price match and still keep that offer up?

JAde is also featured in next week's Target ad. They wouldn't be showing her in back to back ads if we didn't have heavy inventory on her.

FINALLY, another Starter sale! Getting the 3DS.

I may get another normal Pop Fizz, repackage him with the game, and resell on eBay.

Only thing for sure I know of is the extra peg hook for Jade Flashwing being put in the main Skylanders section. It varies from store to store but right now my Target has 3 Skylanders locations. Main section is with the Wii games, then 4 peg hooks on a video game end cap and a side cap in toys that has about 8 peg hooks.

Ya the targets around me in NY seem to have the same setup exactly as you mentioned.

How many skylanders do you think you can fit in one of those cases? Even if you stuck more than 1 in each "window" and do the Giants fit realistically in that? I have one of those cases (the original Giants case) and I can fit all mine in there, though it can be tricky sometimes. I do have to put more than 1 in each slot, and the right side has bigger slots to accomodate the Giants. Some Giants fit no problem, like Thumpback and Crusher, but Ninjini and Swarm cause a little difficulty because of their height. But then, I don't collect any variants, so I probably have less to carry than most other people.

I wonder why target didnt use the granite crusher on this, I mean they are the only ones that could.

It sucks that the starter packs aren't part of the buy 2 get 1 free though.

Figures starter pack would go on sale two days after I bought for 59.99 at Walmart. Good thing I'm able to get $20 back for the price match.

Just got back from target, they did not have any JFW on the shelves, but I asked the employee, she brought out a whole bunch including a box of giants, so I got a JFW for free plus I picked up a ninjini.

My Targets ad did not ring up on sale had to get the manager and they thought I was crazy. I had to show them the front of the ad that said buy 2 get one free including Jade Flashwing. They rang it up and took 9.99 off my sale for my free JF. I got 2 JF and 1 shroomboom single. They did not have much and the morning was pretty good. Good luck all.

Just got back from Target and mine also didn't ring up buy 2 get 1 free in single packs, although the triple packs rang up as buy 2 get 1. They called another store and eventually just gave me it (two Jade and one Spyro). I felt bad for the lady though.

Does Best Buy match Target? Because I want to get the lunchbox with the 3DS game.

When target says limited stock is that a warning sign...

I woke up late and got there at 7:50. Only four people besides me showed up and only one of those went to the Skylanders section with me. They had 4 JFs and a regular one; the dude in front of me got all but one and an S2 Spyro. I got the last JF on shelf, but I'm sure they have more.

There was no line, no pushing or shoving, nothing. This was the strangest release I've ever been to.

There was not much if any at the one I went to, unless they had some that were not on the shelves. They brought out a couple 3 pack boxes, giants, and jade flashwing when I got there and I was the first one.

I went to target and the electronics guy tried telling me that the whole section of the ad with Jade on it wasn't available until Tuesday. (Because one of the games says available Tuesday) I fought it and got him to bring out what he had, which was only 3 of them. They also did not ring up buy two get one free.

Just a heads up. One of my local Targets showed "limited stock" online for Jade Flashwing. I called the electronics department right at 8:00 AM to ask how many they had on the shelf and the guy said four. I went ahead and drove a little farther to get one from a different target that showed "in stock" and I was the only one there about 8:15 AM and I didn't get to count how many were in a case but it looked like they only had 4-6 of Jade Flashwing too. The guy hadn't put them on the shelf yet and had to pull the case out from under a register to give me one. The case was only one Skylander package deep, but rectangular. They might not get a lot of these after all. I hope I am wrong, for those still looking...

Side Note: They also had the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack with Slam Bam. I haven't seen many of those lately, if anyone is still looking.

You can gripe at me when I buy 10 or more to keep for myself ok? I have respect and that's why I pick up landers for friends kids that can't be there or aren't able to be out and about. I have even made to best new grandkids friends ages 5 and 9 I help their grandma buy them the missing figures for there collections.

Sorry I have a tendency of jumping the gun. Its just that the target I was at today a little pissed that someone literally ran to the back of the store to and grabbed all of what they had. Im just still ticked about what happen this morning. Just wanna say sorry for being a JERK!

Thats weird- I got my Jade over a week ago. Only had one on the shelf so I nabbed it. Kinda weird how that worked out-

It's labeled wave 4, jade flashwing. I posted pictures of the box on this thread or another when I git mine early. You need to all check at electronics desk, they are in some stores holding them there. Also bring your ad if you have one, jade seems not to be coming up for the buy 2 get one free.

Well I'm going to another that has a lot so I'm good. It's sad bough because single pack shroomboom laughs at me.

Had to really push for the buy 2 get one free sale at Target they did not want to give it to me. First she said it was only on the Giants, then she said it was only on the '$19' set and one Skylander and one free (I have no clue what she meant for that). So I showed her again includes all Skylanders except the starter packs... and she finally called her manager and had it over ridden. Trick is always be patient and be pleasant. They tend to work with you.

So I got the sale (which their flyer said was right but ok) I picked up Fright Rider, Spyro S2 (last one) and Shroomboom. $21 total. They had new figures there but no Jade Flashwing. I got mine already when it was online but I had wanted one for my mom too. Oh well, she said they weren't in yet.


Then I went to Best Buy and picked up the 3DS set with the lunch box and the Avengers 3D Exclusive Blu Ray set on clearance for $20. Best Buy was very nice, went and found the lunch boxes and brought them out and they price matched Target for $39.99

None of the local Targets had the case so I ended up just getting the first Giants case. Only 1 of the stores had Jade Flashwing out on the floor.

Went there about an hour after it opened and it was surprisingly not well-stocked. They had less than 12 behind the counter.

I was also a bit miffed the B2G1F deal didn't work with Jadewing.

My Target had ZERO stock for Jade Flashwing today. I'm so glad I broke the rules and got him early. For those who say Target makes sure they are well stocked; this was a joke.

Anyone NOT jumping on the Target starter pack price is nuts. I'm going to stock up this week on those.

That's good to know, since my Target was out on 3DS. I want the Punch Pop Fizz variant and this is a no brainer.
