We are all speculating. You got those who are thinking they won't release here, and those who do. Those who do state that because we live in America, that means we are entitled to every figure, because the game was made in America, while some of us don't believe they're coming due to the fact that they aren't speaking a word about their availability in the US.

There's simply a ton of speculating as to these two characters' releases. No one has facts. Not me. Not anyone else here. Actions speak louder than words, and the only action we've seen with Scarlet and Polar, is that they've both been released in various PAL regions, but not a hint of information as to when they would hit the US and where.

Walmart has had 3 exclusives. Target has had 2 exclusives. Amazon.com has had 1 exclusive. Gamestop has had 1 exclusive. Toys R Us has their Legendary exclusives.

Just saying. Right now, we are all speculating. No one has proof of their release in the US, just like people like me have no proof of their exclusivity in the PAL regions.

They'll come here. Remember Wham-Shell? They eventually released him here. I'm not worried at all.

Wham is different. You see him on the poster included with the game. There is a dedicated slot for him in the first game's collection screen, as well as the second game.

Again, even I am just speculating, but to see people overseas already have exclusive release info on characters like Molten and Jade, while getting Scarlet and Polar, while we get Molten and Jade, with not a hint of info on who is getting exclusive rights to Polar and Scarlet in the US, isn't a good sign in my eyes.

I want to be wrong, because I am out 16.24 x4 for Granite Crusher, 149.99 x4 for Gnarly Tree Rex, 54.18 x4 for Royal Double Trouble, 10.82 x4 for Jade Flashwing, 81.27 x4 for Punch Pop Fizz, and 10.82 x4 for Molten Hot Dog in good faith I could get a hold of 4 Scarlets and Polar Whirlwinds. I am out 79 and some change for 4 Scarlets, which are on their way, which just leaves Polar.

However, what are they waiting for? The stores of the PAL regions got all exclusives now, except for Royal. They have all the info they need in order to get 7/8 ingame variants. Why can't the US have the same information?

I know a lot of people are going to come in here and lay down their Jack Webb, as they give their predictions, but we're all speculating, while one figure still remains US exclusive, but the PAL regions now have 7/8 ingame variants, while the US - where the game is made - has 6, with no new info to share, unlike the territories where the game isn't even made.

Who knows, really. I'm just speculating, as are we all.

It's all shady if you ask me. The PAL regions should have had access to the Sidekicks and Royal Double Trouble, while the US has access to all figures as well. No region should be left behind.

In the case of there being a character slot for Wham Shell then how are Polar and Scarlett any different? They are both in game variants. And when has an in game variant not found its way to some part of the world and not everywhere else? Jade was overseas before it hit US. I just don't see Activision keeping in game variants from the US.

I'm in Australia and we have had nothing since the end of January all Australian stock (figures only) come from the US with the exception of GITD Fright rider.

^ I agree that I can't see Acti keeping these from the USA, but at the same time a little info would help those among us who are impatient keep calm. (referring to myself here) I ordered Scarlet off of Amazon.DE because I'm impatient. I would've thrown $60.00 at Evilbay for Polar already if it weren't for the fact that I'm holding every penny right now until I get my next tattoo this Sat. After that's done though and if there is anything left..... Well, I have already admitted to being impatient......

The worst part about it for me is the fact that Scarlet and Polar were the two that I was looking forward to since day 1. I don't even care for the normal Whirlwind that much (personal opinion, sorry if that offends anyone) but once I saw in game pics of Polar I was in love.

Just a little info, a tiny sample, a little taste to help us sky-junkies get our fix, is that too much to ask Activision!?

Another thread on here now has her order link for sweden TRU. I think it is much more likely we see her as a TRU exclusive. Yes they have the legendaries but every one seems to forget last year they had blue bash. So they have had no exclusives figure wise this time except legendaries. I expect at least one of the last 2 to be aTRU exclusive. They also had dark light crypt for 30days last year as well as dragons peak so that would account for any timed exclusives they had this time around.

TRU did have gnarly but Im not sure if it was a TRU exclusive (think it was though). That still only gives them 1 and the other retailers 2.
Target had granite and jade. Walmart had gitd sonic and molten. Gamestop had gold cannon and royal double trouble, possibly 3 if you count the rerelease of sidekicks sold through the promo they had.

Us in the UK only got Granite Crusher, and had to go buy a £200 playstation 3 to get Gnarly. As of now no news on MHD, JADE, SCARLET, OR POLAR. WE HAVE IT BAD

Royal Double Trouble. America has had it for 4 months as of the 20th of this month, with not a hint of info on how anyone overseas can get it.

Then we are the only ones who got the Sidekicks. I had to send a friend a set to the UK because they never got them.

Yeah, I see what your saying GM but royal shipped with the ios game and who knows if that had anything to do with it, maybe he will see a single release like dark spyro later who knows. Plus did the blue wii (gnarly) see over seas sells as well not sure about that.

I would not be surprised if at least 1 was a euro only, dont think thats the case. However Im sure it wouldnt be both polar and scarlet.

I have a feeling gamestop might get scarlet.

I'm pretty sure they got Gnarly Tree Rex overseas. I know one country got a PS3 bundle and not the Wii bundle.

Ye in the UK we had the ps3 slim budle lucky alot of people kept the ps3 and sold the Giants game. Which is how I got Gnarly

Thing is, the iOS Starter Pack is available in the PAL regions. They could have thrown Royal into those, just like they did here.

I think both Scarlet and Polar could be exclusive overseas, but I am leaning more toward Polar.

I have a friend sending me 4 Polars at cost (that's why poking this bear didn't work rawr ), but it still sucks to know that if one or both stay exclusive, many will have to resort to Ebay to complete their collections.

All regions should be able to get everything Skylanders related. PAL regions should have gotten the Sidekicks and Royal like the US did. And if Polar or Scarlet stay exclusive overseas, they should be available to people in the US.

Frankly, I hope this alienation of toys from gamers bites Acti in the rear. Simply no excuse for this. I'll definitely no longer pursue in game variants if they expect me to go lurking on eBay to get it.

I disagree. there is no reason why every region should have immediate access to every variant. why can't something be a specil release for a certain region? What is, as a wild example, Whirlwind wasn't "Polar" but "Swedish" i.e. blue & gold colored as a special Sweden release? should that be made available everywhere?

You see these as collectables that you must have all of. But why can't some of them be regional or exclusive to certain places, events, people or dates? Why can't some be special for some people?

Good point, I've seen lots of people from the U.K. upset they couldnt get Jade Flashwing or Molten Hot Dog and you don't think too much about their concern until you get upset you can't buy polar whirlwind.

Why are people complaining about being "out" money? You spent the money, its nobodies fault but your own. You didn't have to spend the money, it was your choice.
