This may calm some people down over here in the US who were screaming that Scarlet and Polar were never making it over here seeing as Molten and Jade made it over seas.

to add: no LLC Chill yet, so maybe that calms some US

no experience with that.

mediamarkt sells allot of electronics washingmachines,laptops,tv's,radio's etc
Game Mania sells games for xbox,pc,playstation,nintendo

No. Some of us, me included, are saying that based on the fact people over there never got Royal Double Trouble. That, and with these two having been known about or out for at least a week, we still have no word on their release in the US.

The problem with this thought process is that Royal Double Trouble was never available here in a single pack. Polar and Scarlet are single pack figures.

I say, Best Buy for polar. just a guess.

The thing is, we got inside info from people on Jade and Molten because a couple people had an inside link. Without lesty, we wouldn't have known about Jade until the ad came out/or the web page went live. Without unclebob Molten would have remained a secret until a couple weeks before he hit stores (because of displays).

Gamestop doesn't let their store employees know anything until they are ready to accept pre-orders (we knew about their exclusives on the two Battle Packs literally as soon as they started taking pre-orders, not a second before). Best Buy is similar. Amazon too. It's hard to take us not knowing anything as evidence of them not coming out here because of no information because many of the stores just don't have people that leak the info. TFB is notoriously mum on releases ahead of time. Who knew Thumpback was going to hit Walmart when it did before someone found it? How about Ninjini before the shipments arrived at TRU? The contents of ANY Wave case after 2 prior to the boxes arriving?

Not having any info doesn't tell me it doesn't exist as a US release. It tells me whoever has the exclusive isn't ready to advertise it and is better at keeping secrets. They have told every kid that seen the Strategy Guide those figures exist, why would they hold them back in the primary market? If they don't have an exclusive deal or a store willing to pony up for it, I would bet they would just send them out wide after the main figures came out to keep the excitement and sales up leading into Swap Force.

This response deserves a gold-star. I'm really getting annoyed with all these doom and gloom people who aren't even doing anything. Just whining "it's not coming".

Here is a Skylanders display at Mediamarkt. This one is outside of Rotterdam.

The collector inside of me is screaming. (Well..not as much as if it was on the blister card. Seriously, that's most annoying thing ever at a store)

From the sounds of it, MediaMarkt is kind of like our Best Buy stores, while Game Mania sounds like Gamestop. Matteomax is on the right path. I don't know if anyone out there works at either one of these stores, but maybe you could look them up on their internal...uh..systems..or whatever. I think we can probably rule on at least Walmart and Target getting another (although I think my guess for Walmart getting Scarlet still seems logical; Walmart has yet to get a Giant to call their own) and I'd doubt K-mart will get an exclusive.

TRU while possible probably won't get something that's not a Legendary. So that leaves us with Gamestop (who's gotten a battle pack exclusive twice) and Best Buy (who hasn't had an exclusive for Giants at ALL)

might be a safe bet: European countries that got Mediamarkt and sell skylanders, will sell Polar Whirlwind.

Will Mediamarkt not ship to the US?

From what I hear, they won't. Don't know what the hold up is, for information on the US releases of Scarlet and Polar? I still think one or both aren't coming to the US, just like Royal didn't release in the PAL regions. The person selling me 4 Polars at cost also told me they never saw GITD Sonic Boom, like we never saw GITD Fright Rider.

Or to have some faith there needs to be something to release for summertime like for the original game. As far as this one goes, both scarlet and polar would be later due to the fact of the first round of variant releases. Look at how most stores in the US are starting to finally get the regular Ninjini in as well as the Series 2 of Spyro, Wrecking Ball, etc. It would seem silly just as toys r us got in about a month ago the release of the original Ninjini and the other stores are finally catching up to then release the variant that soon.

Though you could claim in how hot dog was handled that I started seeing the single pack at Target for him without the battle pack as well as the spyro and wrecking ball solo packs.

As it stands, I'm going to speculate either Polar or Scarlet will see a US release sometime Mid April or the beginning of May. I recall those that spoke in february of the release of jade flashwing weeks before the US release date of the 17th.

S2 spyro is also out here, and scarlet ninjini soon. and indeed we dont got Royal DT or GITD Sonic boom.
we also never had GITD 3DS starter pack. (WII,XBOX,PS we did)
