Actually, there were tons of complaints about it Matteomax. Most people just had to go other routes to get it. It was pretty abundant over there, so people just went to lengths to procure it. But if it's something you advertise in your guides, it's likely that it will be out in stores across the world. Otherwise that's just false advertising on their behalf. All signs point to Polar being in the US.

Very true.... This is why I am not doubting that Polar will be released worldwide, it is an in-game variant which was listed in the game guide as a standard character and is not seemed to be a "chase variant" like the country exclusives we've seen before (such as GITD Fright Rider, Green Gill Grunt or the sidekicks)... I am very anxious to see Polar WW in the states and patiently waiting any word on where to find her... the time will come, but in the meantime I'm super duper excited with anticipation!!!

Well, everyone here knows I love being wrong in the case of any skepticism I have towards Skylanders releases here in America. So, if it costs me figures in the process, it was worth it to know I was wrong.

However, if I'm not wrong... not only does it suck to win in this case (because I do want Polar out here), but I'm not anything... someone else is.

Now to just sit back and see what fate decides.

Incorrect about Scarlet. The reason why no one is as up in arms is because many jumped the gun and pre-ordered her off of amazon.de instead of waiting for a US release.

The fact is, both Scarlet and Polar are coming to the US because if both weren't Activision would know the wrath of the US demographic. So, while these are not out at the same time as the EU, there's NOTHING THAT SAYS THEY ARE NEVER COMING TO AMERICA YOU INSANE LOT!

EDIT: And I still believe Royal Double Trouble will be out in other territories most likely as a single. If my hunch is correct then that is a better deal IMO than paying 40$ for it along with pointless figures you already have, a bluetooth portal all for 7$ game!

Bazinga...I am not sure you noticed who we are poking fun at. This is the internet after all. And if anyone is fun to poke...it is GM69. He pretty much asks for it. He placed a bet with someone. A bet he admitted he was going to lose. Of course we're gonna make fun of him. It's part of life. Get used to it. A lesson you will learn, especially on the internet if you choose to be on forums is to develop a thick skin. If you don't. Then you're gonna get butt hurt and whine when you get picked on. Take one step onto reddit.com and you'll understand what it's like to be heckled. It's just people having fun at other people's expense. Is it nice? Not always. Is it mean to be taken with a grain of salt. Yep. These are likely people you'll never meet. If they are asking for it...then they'll get it. I think GM realized a long time ago that he's gonna get heckled. He developed a thicker skin and shrugs it all of.

People always have the ability to stand up for themselves too. If you can dish it...you need to be prepared to return fire. The good ones know when and when not to return fire.

Hmmm.... I'm sorry that you have to come on the internet and make fun of people to have a good time. That is pretty sad. I can find plenty of other things to do to have fun. I feel that some people on here (not saying you) come on here just to start stuff. Usually your posts are meaningful and alright. However, if people think it is cool come and start stuff because it is fun or it makes them feel better, that is pretty sad.

For someone who claims to hate eBay sellers so much, he's driving folks into their arms. Again, based on nothing.

GM is only expressing his opinion, it's true, but the problem is that his opinion carries influence here, and impressionable forum members might seriously believe Polar Whirlwind may not come to the U.S. because of what GM is saying. Like people have already stated, there's no evidence to support that, and considerably more (circumstantial) evidence behind the notion that all of the figures will indeed reach American shores. He's turning what should be a non-issue into a full-fledged debate that keeps popping up in every Polar Whirlwind thread. This isn't something that it's fair to be skeptical about, to be honest, and the unwarranted skepticism is whipping up a frenzied mass panic.

The good news is if everyone is whipped up into a frenzy and gets them off eBay, when they do come here they should be considerably easier to obtain ...

If I were inclined to believe that she wouldn't be released here and bought one off eBay, I'd still get one when they get released here. I dislike the EU peg hole. Speaking of which...

Not every character I can't get early or at all. Only figures I have a strong gut feeling won't be released.

Heck, I am even about to say screw it, and say that Scarlet may stay overseas. Tash has it right, though. Everything I say is my opinion. Nothing more than speculation. Sometimes my speculating has been on the mark, sometimes it hasn't. That's up to fate to decide.

Your gut is not factual proof so can we all (as in everyone, not just you and your gut) just SHUT UP about Polar and Scarlet not coming out in the US? It's about as sound as claiming Swap Force is a EU only game!

Found out, that Polar Whirlwind is in Austria Saturn exclusiv (since 10. March 2013).

Not sure about Germany, but in the Netherlands, yes.

Well, even if they don't hit the US, I have a friend in the overseas who is going to grab me some of these once they hit his area.

The only thing that will suck about these two if they stay overseas exclusive, is the god awful pegging that cuts off like half of the box art. Oh, well. It's better to have these figures with horrible pegging than not have them at all.

How much is your friend selling each Polar Whirlwind for?

They cost 26 dollars I believe was the total...we had them shipped to one central person who will distribute them. It was cheaper than sending them individually. It will be around 30 bucks after all is said and done.

So can we order them online yet from Germany or Austria? Sorry wasn't clear if that was said. OR is it coming to USA?
