Ever since this came out on amazon is been available. Is it that no one wants it or there's really that many that its not really that desirable?

there are a lot of them. I chose to not even bother with it honestly. I want the satisfaction of finding one somewhere.

The Gold Flamey is only available on amazon.com. You won't find him in stores.

When he was first available he was actually kind of hard to find. So, I think as with some of the other characters they are doing better at keeping them stocked.

I didn't mean gold flamey in general when I said I wanted the satisfaction of finding one. I just meant I want to be able to find a chase in the wild. Sorry I didn't make that clear the first time but ya I figured they were doing a better job keeping him stocked which is why I figured they still had a lot because they have been able to sell a lot.

As far as finding a chase variant "in the wild" I assume the places you can hope to find one are few and far between. I'm guessing employees at TRU and Gamestop would recognize the value/rarity and it would never make it on the shelf. Target or Best Buy?? They MIGHT or might not realize what it's worth. It would have to be at a place like Walmart...or, something random like OfficeMax (if they really do carry them...I've never checked myself). Am I wrong? Just looking for opinions. I haven't been hunting skylanders as long as many, but would love to find one in the wild too.

I agree with you lesty. Walmart and Target are really the only places I would expect to find a chase of any kind. Employees at the other establishments have to know by now the popularity of the game and the figures that come along with it so I'm sure when they see one that looks different they scoop it up quick.

I talked to a Gamestop employee that was not bashful at all about telling me how he bought a flocked eruptor the minute he unpacked his box. You have to hope for clueless store workers to get a chance at one.
