I wasn't the first to bring up 3 packs in this thread. I'm not dodging anything.

If YOU needed a hard to find SSA figure and finally found a 3 pack with him, wouldn't you buy it?

Like I said, I don't think it matters.

i have actually seen whamshell at target in the last few weeks and a few at toys r us not in the castle thingy i would agree i think boomer is the rarest i have been looking for awhile now also i would put zap in that same area of rareness

it does not matter to me if i find a 3 pack even if i have the other figs i would rather pay retail for a 3 pack then inflated ebay prices

they never re-released boomer in the last skylanders spryo adventures, ive seen everyone, even voodood, but not boomer. he was the ugly one no one wanted. shelves full of him. so i bet thats why hes the rarest regular figure now.
this is totally not me saying i am selling mine. but if someone was wanting to buy one from me what would be a good price to sell it for?

I've located a few SSA single packs that are moderately hard-to-find by scouring the shelves at various Walgreens locations (Warnado, Camo, Dino-Rang, Voodood). I've never once seen Boomer or Zap on their shelves.

Interestingly, on a recent multi-store Walgreens hunt, I noticed that some Walgreens locations are starting to carry the Giants series singles. I hadn't seen that before this past weekend.

I wonder if the supply of leftover SSA singles to Walgreens is now drying up and they're starting to stock leftover Giants singles instead?

I visited 5 walgreens so far, 1 of them had giants and no ssa. So i guess as hey clear SSA they are adding giants.

Checked out a Walgreens again and they had a bunch! SSA and Giants. SSA Zook, Lightning Rod, Warnando, Camo, Dino Rang, Hex, Cynder, and Stealth Elf. Giants they had Stump Smash, Cynder, and Stealth Elf.

Yeah, Boomer was a pain to find. I only managed to get one used at Gamestop and that was last spring.

Boomer is impossible to find anywhere. Wish my kids had got hooked on Skylanders back when these guys were readily available.

Good point. To be specific, Amazon is offering Dino-Rang, Drobot, Double Trouble, Flameslinger, Voodood, Whirlwind, Lightning Rod, Camo, Warnado, and Zook at the $8.99 price currently.
Hex is also on Amazon at $7.99.

I suppose unsurprisingly, the figures I just listed are the exact same characters that I've routinely (or in some cases, rarely) located in various Walgreens stores over the past 2 months. I would assume that Amazon and Walgreens have the same supplier or share the same supply of these SSA packs, although that is just an assumption.

It seems that neither Walgreens nor Amazon stocks Boomer, Zap, Wham-Shell, Bash, or Wrecking Ball. Just an observation based on recent experiences.

^Yeah my observation is that the general inventory trends tend to be the same. I'm stocking up one last time on S1 stuff before I "wrap it up" permanently for both SSA and SG (pending new stuff).

I went to Walgreens today to see if there wre Skylanders and they had about 5 each of s2wrecking ball and s2 spyro. Then there were fright riders and some ssa whirlwinds--surprised!
Has anybody noticed they are selling them on the Hone Shopping Network?!?

LoL ... Home Shopping Network? I didn't even know that still existed.

My only memories of that are my Grandma watching it back when cable TV was a new technology ... like 25 years ago.
