Thank you! But all things considered, I'm spamming a Skylanders site on a "Spyro" site. I tried to get the powers the be to consider making a trading forum, for the sake of all collectors here, but that went nowhere. This is the result. I'm just trying to help out my fellow collectors. If "management" decides to shut this down, and not even give any of their members a chance to trade buy or sell, even at another site, or prohibit members form winning a Jade Flashwing, then I really have to question if they really want to help the members. If there was a contest here that I thought was worth spreading the word about, I'd do it.

Technically, you're spamming the Skylanders section of a Spyro site with a Skylanders forum.

Technically, I guess you're right, except for the spamming part. I'm letting people who play and collect Skylanders that another sight is giving away a figure that they may be interested in. Spamming would be posting this in every section. Trying to help the collecting community is all I'm doing.

Okay..... so I am going to chime in on this. Really, this is no different then the guy posting the video about the Ninjini give away. What that guy is doing is trying to drum up traffic on his you tube page. If they have let that go for days then really this shouldn't be a problem.

big_matt is not asking people to leave this site. People can visit more than one site to get info on skylanders.

Ill second that as its a free world we can do as we please i am also on a few other skylander sites for trading purposes only so each to there own i say theres no rules to say about mentioning other sites on here if thats the case why are people mentioning ebay, amazon, gamestop and so on technicaly they are skylander sites to as u can purchase them so these other sites are the same we are either buying them or tradeing them like mentioned before there are no rules as to mentioning other sites rant over.

It's a joke we're not aloud to trade on this site anyways, it'll be nice to have a site that does (if it gets popular).

i can understand why dark says no selling/trading as i have been stung with a couple of folks on here but also if people want to sell/trade why not let them at owners risk not at darks or the sites but he has choose not to let people sell/trade openly on here which is his choice and he reserves the right to do so but if someone like big_matt has created a site where it is souly for selling/trading purposes the same thing applys to him his site his rules like it or leave simple as that and owners sell/trade at there own risk how is this so hard for some people to understand i for one like both sites and as i live in the uk i cant get some of the figures for months but with the help of some people on here and matts site i can get the figures for me and my son to enjoy the game together now if thats wrong in this day and age then im sure we will agree theres something completely wrong with peoples minds sorry for ranting on but like i said i can see both darks and matts points of view thats why there are two diffrent sites for this and there are no rules on either to say you cant be a member of diffrent sites or cant mention different sites on there sites RANT OVER!!!!!!!!!!

yeah look at this site dark has created its amazing there is a bunch of good folk on here but there is also the troublemakers i have met a few people ion here im now really good friends with but there is also people i cant stand but thats just the way life is get over it lol

Exactly. If you stay here long enough youll meet some good people and several headaches. Who cares if another site is up and person is letting us know? Better networking in my opinion

The more forums the merrier. There are more than 1 Nintendo collecting forums, more than 1 Magic the Gathering forums, it makes sense for there to be more than 1 Skylanders forum too.

It really breaks down to a couple of things.

1. No one from that site is saying to stop visiting this site.

2. People who are upset are really only hurting other people by raising a fit. They are giving a way a free Jade Flashwing. Helping other people get things for cheap or free shouldn't be looked down upon.

3. I am probably going to make some people mad over this but here it goes anyways.... I have all the respect to dark and to the mods. However, I know they can't be everywhere at once and take everything down that is inappropriate. However, the trolling that was going on before still goes on. Maybe not as much as before, but honestly it still goes on and some people don't get anything said or their have their posts deleted. Yet, some of us post something as simple as "Let me know if you see one." It gets deleted because person was advertising. Well, if that is the case then all of the threads for Ninjini is on X site for regular price needs to be deleted because, it is the same thing.

It shouldn't matter as long as it's related. He won't be stealing user share from darkspyro.net and my youtube link also shouldn't matter as it's not competition for a forum and it's providing the chance for kids/collectors to get two free ninjinis.
If it was unrelated or malicious, then understandably so, it should not be allowed. The point being if I can come on here and say hey look at this guy selling a green ninjini on ebay and then it's fine or instead I say hey guys I'm selling a green ninjini. It's the same thing! Otherwise you could make additional accounts and pretend that your not the person whos selling/posting the link.

For someone who agreed with Dark's "modding should be done by the moderators" comment, you seem to think that comment doesn't apply to you. Unless you have some sort of honorary mod title that only you know about. Or is that another perk of working retail?

I actually don't stock shelves. And I've got a degree in Web Design so try harder. And learn how to quote properly.

Am i the only one who sees the name of the degree? Is it some new form of trolling? Am I the only one who is wondering why a grown man with a masters degree is on a spyro site trolling someone? Are jobs in fine art slim picking nowadays? I just don't get the logic behind your purpose.

My logic is simple, you're a moron and with each post you show that more and more. You don't even know how to read what you are trying to say, there is no degree in web design. Even your own link, the one to the wonderful and amazing first class "devry" lists the document you will get as an "Associate of Applied Science" that's the name of the "degree", there is no degree in "web design" as you first stated you had. Web Design is the program and the field of study.

And no jobs are great in the field, especially when you are the CEO and President of the company.

Maybe you should go after that "degree in Web Design", once you get it, send me your resume and I'll hook you up.
