Conversely, though, S2 Sheep Burner is actually a lot better. The Fireslam itself does 80 in a wide area, in addition firing four 20-damage fireballs in an X pattern. They retain all upgrades, including their explosive properties, when part of a Fireslam. Considering that he was only ever as low as D in the first place for a lack of damage/variety, I'd say problem solved; we can move him to C.

so if your recommending both paths for C, then I just have to ask, which one would you say is the "better" path? and for those who say to just not upgrade him, well then you really are only playing series 1 Spyro. for the sake of adding "series 2 Spyro" to this tire list, we have to take his Wow Pow as well, weather we like it or not. |

Hey, how is S2 Trigger happy golden frenzy in D tier. I have not tried my S2 on it(mine is on moneybags and S1 is on Golden frenzy) but is his wow pow actually that much of an improvement for him? I simply don't find a lot of time to fire off the machine gun on Golden frenzy, as the bouncing bullets disable that.

Nope you are lying sleepy. It is like, basically impossible to defeat eye-brawl or thumpback with B tiers. Let alone E tier.

For the record, I absolutely agree with you. Without the Wow Pow, he is what we would classify in this tier list as plain S1 Spyro. A figure isn't the product of its mold, but its moves and stats. Choosing not to purchase the final upgrade just means you are choosing to play S1 Spyro with an S2 mold. And as for who is better, I would say they're of approximately equal worth, and it largely depends on the opponent. Even without stunlock, Blitz's charge has a major upgrade over S:SA in that it can hit the same target multiple times in one charge. There's no underestimating how good that is; it's the sole basis of Ghost Roaster's worth in the first game, and it being taken away is why he is so weak currently. On the other hand, there's no arguing that Burner makes better use of the Wow Pow. Thanks to the explosive fireball upgrade, it's impossible to miss with them if your opponent is inside of Fireslam range. On Blitz, as they do not explode, misses are common. Really, it's all preference and playstyle. |

Well if I had to choose, I think I would still recommend Blitz on Series 2. Hitting multiple times in a charge and then doing a non-exploding fireslam will rack up more damage threw out the match compared to hitting once then trying to go for the exploding fireslam when your target knows its coming right after you loose your charge. The stun use to give that extra time to combo in Fly and then fireslam, but since its gone I think a combo move like that being the main attack is kinda unwieldy. Overall I think a speedy Spyro dashing around getting a random number of multiple hits in when ever he can and then doing a fireslam at the best time is going to win more matches then a one hit charge to close in, and then trying to pull off a fireslam when your opponent knows that's exactly what your going to do. |

STAHP. Just let the guy make his comments without jumping on him. EgoNaut knows good information from bad, trust me. I've been posting with the guy since S:SA launched. There's literally no way that he'll put S1 Total Tongue Wrecking Ball in S-tier because of one poster's testimony, so it doesn't threaten the integrity of the list to let the guy have his posts. Let him believe what he wants to believe, and trust me, Total Tongue will still wind up where he belongs. This has gone on long enough, everyone. Let's concentrate our efforts on improving the list and not shouting each other down. Sleepy is trying to contribute, and even though his results don't match anything I've seen or come to expect, it doesn't mean he can't have his say too. We made this thread as an open forum for all ideas, consistent or not. EgoNaut is a fair and impartial host, and he'll handle it. We don't need to try to defeat each other's ideas like this.

If you guys think Series 2 is bad I beg to differ. The reason I chose that path is so he could be more versatile. You can hit from a pretty long distance and pretty rapidly with his tongue, and Collect food from a huge distance. Not to mention swallowing food with his tongue makes his regular burp more powerful

Am I the only one that still thinks Voodood should've had a repose instead of Wrecking Ball?
EDIT: Also, does anybody still know for sure which path is better for S2 Prism Break with his Wow Pow? I was thinking Prismancer, due to the extra damage on the pulse, but still not sure...

Voodood stays solid with or without Wow Pow. He didn't need a fix the way Wrecking Ball did, and the disco ball is a large-scale improvement. I do wish he had a repose, but at the expense of Double Trouble, whose Wow Pow is a non-factor in PVP, and not Wrecking Ball, who's clearly greatly improved because he has his Wow Pow.

Hmmm... Ninjini's Swords of Might Path sounds rather powerful! However, to me, her Ancient Djinn Magic path seems very versatile! She can summon orbs, rockets while in her bottle, and can still use her swords! It sounds rather nice to me! I don't know about you guys, but that path is most likely the one I'll take!

Ninjini may have higher walking speed than Thumpy, but she isn't faster. Thumpback's slide will close the gap fairly quickly unless you're playing in an arena with tons of slopes and inclines, which trip him up considerably.

^ she does but thumpy's belly slide is hard to use effectively and as Tashiji said, his belly slide is hard to use on arenas where there are slopes and a lot of walls, I still would find ninjini more effective, so basically ninjini can beat thumpy into submission (of course taking a lot of anchor damage as well) in areas that have slopes and a lot of walls, but otherwise it can be a very close match

It's quick as Giants go. Only Swarm is faster, and he's... well, Swarm. But when you compare Ninjini to a regular-sized melee such as Slam Bam or Stealth Elf, she's pretty clunky.
As for movement speed, hers is the same as Bouncer's. If you have him, you'll know what you're dealing with. It's not notably faster, but it's a slight leg up on Thumpback's walking speed. |

And her "Wishblades" don't do a lot of damage, even on her Swords of Might Path. Her "Sword Fling" combo is rather hard to pull off on regular sized characters, due to the extreme thinness of her blades.

The multi-charge is a lot harder to hit than it sounds. It's not damage you'll be collecting on very often, because it's faster and less controllable than Ghost Roaster's, requires some running to even get started, and doesn't last as long. Even if you're trying for it, you won't hit it a whole heck of a lot.
As for Rod, I prefer Typhoon Titan. The path was considered weak in S:SA because it lacked a strong, mid-range attack, and the Wow Pow takes care of that. Now that TT has something to do against opposition that isn't right in his face, he can actually live up to some of the potential people saw in his zapper cloud/shield combo. Lightning Lord is still pretty close to as good, you just won't really use the Wow Pow very often, so there's no particular perk that makes having the S2 figure especially worthwhile on that path. |
