Topic explains all. If you have the portal owners pack (with just ,) you can get an s2 but you can't get a regular . What is the reason for this?

Wave 5 (SSA) had 3 figures, but it was not called the end of wave four.

Also, notice how on all the air singles, it shows jet vac AND Lightcore jet-vac. It showed Shroomboom on life singles and hot dog on... You guessed it, fire singles. And they were singles.

Expect jet vac soon.

except that with SSA, there were just characters. all 32 were equal. with Giants, the waves are anchored by Giants. Wave 2 had Hot Head, Wave 3 had Eye Brawl & Thumpback and wave 4 has Ninjini. There are no giants left to build a wave around. That makes it very hard for retailers to promote anything. It winds up feeling like leftovers rather than something on par with the previous waves. Wave 4 will run for several more weeks with the last remaining characters showing up soon. But I highly doubt there will be a wave 5.

Personally, it seems like the only reason to get regular Jet Vac is either

1. You got the portal owners pack, but are a collector who wants everybody, or
   
2. You can't get your hands on Lightcore Jet Vac
   

...and #1 is contradictory. Someone trying to collect everything shouldn't be buying the Portal Owner's pack. #2 is just down to individual situations, and it doesn't feel like Activision is taking such things into consideration (they're surely letting down their non-American fans).

Dunno about the specific stats, but on a more general scale Jet Vac and Lightcore Jet Vac are the same, they have the same upgrades, etc, so the only FUNCTIONAL difference is that LC has that entrance pow. There's no advantage to regular Jet Vac, so why would anybody need him (over LC Jet Vac, anyway)?

I see nothing wrong with #1. Plenty of "collectors" (in this case, people who want to obtain all 48 poster characters) may have for budget reasons purchased the portal owners pack or perhaps received it as a gift or obtained the game via 3rd party sources and still need to obtain the character.

Or perhaps somewhere down the line they changed their mind about obtain the character, originally only wanting the one pose, but later decided they wanted both.

Regardless, the world, and the people in it, are far more varied than the 2 scenarios you provided

Okay, the two scenarios I posited are just the two most LIKELY explanations, LOL! And I didn't say collectors WOULDN'T buy the Portal Owners pack, just that they shouldn't, I realize people may change their mind later (I certainly wish I had gotten the Starter Pack rather than the Portal Owner's pack, knowing what I know now).

My point is that after everything is considered, it seems to me like demand for regular Jet Vac should be rather low, compared with Lightcore Jet Vac.

Have they ever said ANYTHING?!?

Here is my thought.

They will eventually release a Jet-Vac normal single in wave 4.5 or 5.My reason for thinking this is because Activision knows that some people don' want to bother with S2 and LC so that is why the Booster Pack was made.They knew people weren't going to spend more money on a single fig they want to get an other two figs they aren't going to use.So like they did with Shroomboom and Hot Dog and of coarse S2 Cynder who came in the starter pack they might no are no not even them they must release a single of S2 Chop Chop,S2 Zap and most importantly normal Jet-Vac.

My guess is that she'll be exclusive to Amazon Germany for 30 days, then she'll be exclusive to worldwide Amazons. Since she's currently going to be exclusive to an Amazon, it makes sense to me that Amazon will keep the exclusive, it'll just get wider. (Obviously Amazon Germany is too specific to permanently be the exclusive).

it is certainly likely, but Gamestop exists in the U.S. and in Sweden and yet Gamestop Sweden has the exclusives for Granite Crusher and Molten Hot Dog (and later, Jade Flashwing) so it's not guaranteed that just because Amazon Germany has an exclusive that all Amazons will have it.

That's a point... I guess time will tell.

Also Gamestop exists here in Canada, as EBGames, and recently Gamestop got something early (I forget what, possibly the Scorpion Striker?) and our EBGames stores didn't have them. Likewise Wal-Mart getting Molten Hot Dog, they're only just getting them now when American ones had them weeks ago. Same with Ninjini at TRU.

And my memories of EBGames might be about the sidekicks... I didn't try terribly hard, but it seemed like we didn't have the sidekick deal (making as far as I know the second time in a row that Canada was left out of getting sidekicks)
