yeah I love Hurricos, chasing them thieves!

Haven't played Spyro 2, my first Spyro games was Enter the Dragonfly, and played everything after that.

Aquaria Towers, mainly because i found that it is possible to leave the map.

Hurricos was my favorite. I like the music it's soothing but has a bit of a creepy edge to it.

the alarms and purple thieves still creep me out in a jump scare way.

We need to go back to Skylanders after this.
After all the preferred upgrade paths are done, I'm fine with the Spyro polls.

At the rate they're coming out, they'll never be done! 32... What... Weeks? Of Skylanders polls straight is getting annoying, and it's really frustrating to see them all the time on a website called darkSpyro. Putting up Spyro-related polls is a nice gesture to people who don't like Skylanders or are tired of the same poll about different characters. People who like the Skylanders polls have had plenty already. It's good to have something to break it up.

Great game it's just too hard to choose i haven't palyed this game to end jet, because I don't have it, but my friend do I just hate Skylanders. It's not Spyro game.. I liked to get all PS1 Spyro games C:

Man a lot of people want to see more Skylander's poll. It is kinda depressing how the classic Spyro games are so overshadowed by the newer Skylanders

Yep, don't you just love how ignorant Acti are.

The ideal think to do was to remake the classics for newer consoles. They say that they created Skylanders to introduce new gamers to Spyro, when they are actually resetting the series and taking away the feel the classics use to bring.
Don't get me wrong though. Skylanders seems fun, but I would have wished they have made it into an apart series, rather than to include Spyro within it.

the new people on this site don't even think of the old users that are still spyro fans and as for the skylanders fans they just want the polls to be all about one game they need to think about that cause dark52 can do what ever he wants he does not need to get told by the skylander fans and spyro fans to make more

Yeah sure and Dark doesn't need to be told by the Spyro fans to make more Spyro ones either, which is what I've seen the last time he made Classic Spyro polls and went back to Skylanders.

Yeah, but we've had more Skylanders polls recently than anything else, it would make more sense to have a poll about Skylanders, and then the next week or so, a poll about the Legend series, and then in the next few weeks, a poll about the original Spyro games. And it will go around in a loop like that, so it would be fair.

It's been years since I played Spyro 2 because my disc broke. I'll have to see if I can get another on eBay. I had to YouTube the levels because I couldn't remember some of them but I think Sunny Beach was my favourite Summer Forest level.

I vote glimmer. I loved this game growing up it was also the first spyro game that I beat to 100%.

Oh yeah, I know and fully agree! I was just saying that neither sides should flat out pretty much demand that Dark make the polls they want.

Hurricos by a long shot. It's actually my favorite level in the entire game; the Spongebobbies living there is a HUGE bonus. Ironically, Sunny Beach is one of my most hated levels, with Idol Springs and Ocean Speedway as my 2nd and 3rd favs respectively. The rest are meh

Never was a huge fan of Colossus, Glimmer, or Sunny Beach, personally.

I chose Summer Forest, because it's just a fun home world and I like the little glitches that occupied me for a while sometimes.

I'm Agree

Was a hard choice, but thanks to me not knowing Summer Forest was an option, I chose Glimmer (Still an awesome level).

Aquaria Towers it's just so beautiful (that and I'm a sucker for the swimming)
I enjoyed Ocean Speedway a lot as well, it's just that I preferred Aquaria Towers more
Least favourite? Probably Colossus, the hockey player always made me rage

It really amazed me as a kid.

I actually had to go back and view videos for some of the levels. I should get this game again.

Me too. Now I remember the level. It was a very cool level, but not one of my favorites. I still remember that sidequest where you have to prevent those lightning balls from being stolen

Oh, and those odd little guys with the glasses, I still remember how I have to prevent a collision with them in the Dragon Shore's roller-coaster

If you count A Hero's Tail as a Classic title, which I do, then you should be able to get that one on Xbox, but that's it, the first three are on the PS1, but you can play them on the PS2, and ETD is on the PS2, and on the GameCube, and finally Spyro 5 is on the PS2, GameCube and PS2.

Say, now that you bring that topic; I am fully aware that you can play PS1 games into a PS2, and PS2 games in the PS3, but can you play PS1 games into the PS3? I imagine not. That would be too much to ask for...

Yes, you can. However some ps3's will not play ps2 games.

Yep, let's put it this way, Sony have become typical IT people in this case.

Now I've got the 60GB of the original PS3 and it can play PS2 and PS1 games, but it doesn't seem to play them as good as the PlayStation 2 does, the games lag on it a lot.

I think there's three models of the original PS3, another three models for the slimline PS3, and another three for the next slimline PS3 (why did they bother bringing out another slimline, is beyond me.)

Hmm... well then, what I am thinking is that, the newer the model, the less likely it is for it to play older games. There are plenty of consoles like that you know.
