Yeah, but, I don't want to remember Spyro in LoS, with Hunter, who really wasn't Hunter, with all it's corny cutscenes...never mind.

Nostalgic reference or not, thinking of DotD Avalar, as beautiful as it looked, drudges up the awful gameplay, controls, and lackluster story, music, and voice-over work that came with the game.

I will remember spyro that way to. There are other ways for me though. I started playing the original games and I loved them. FOR SPYRO!

To be honest, I didn't faze all that much when I saw Skylanders Spyro. Probably because, growing up, I'm used to seeing all kinds of dragons looking different from cute to goblin-like.

^Well, I wasn't "Happy" anymore when I saw his new design for Skylanders game <.< I was reading that new about Activision is working in a new Spyro game, I was happy when I read that in Febrary 2011, but after watching the design and the whole new about the game:

Original Spyro: FTW forever.

Spyro from TLOS games: It is a great inspiration to warriors dragons, and maybe wise dragons. Cynder is included in this.

Sky Spyro: Really, this was a disappointment, not much, but it's not the same Spyro. This also applies to Sky Cynder.

Yeah, Spyro's so cool isn't he? I've recently started playing the first one again, and I love it to bits, I was in Alpine Ridge, the soundtrack finished, and a new soundtrack began to play, one that I haven't heard before, it only played for like two or three seconds, and then it stopped, and the original soundtrack began to play again, it was weird. It's like the game got confused somehow, and quickly realised it was playing the wrong track.

I don't know if it's a glitch, or if Insomniac has done it on purpose as some type of easter egg? It could be a glitch because it was when Insomniac first started out, it being their second game from Disruptor which received mixed reviews at the time.

I'm honestly not sure. I KNOW that the tracks would switch after a few times and I seem to recall Stewart Copeland saying in an interview that was done on purpose, because of the serious emphasis on exploration that the first game had, that Insomniac programmed that so people wouldn't get bored or frustrated with hearing the same music. Since Copeland made separate tracks for a lot of the challenges in stages from Spyro 2 & 3, I'm guessing Insomniac didn't need to do it.

But it's interesting, particularly because Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time also had issues with musical tracks looping and synching correctly. And it that game, the composer (Boris Salchow) didn't always have his score loop, but would have the songs "finish," much like the songs in Spyro. >.>

The spyro games have evolved a lot. I just got DotD and it changed my expeirience. But spyro can be remembered in whatever way you want. I could not have lived without spyro. If not for him, my life would have been empty. He has been a clos ally to me. May he live Forever!

We all have different opinions .3. You like Swap Force, I don't like it SO FAR. You'll just have to deal with the fact some peoples don't like Skylanders Spyro. Not ment to be, y'know, rude, but yeah.

Not too big on Skylanders, but it's not bad. Haven't played Giants, want to, but don't have the money for it, same for Swap Force, don't know if it's even out yet(don't really care, so no response please), but I'd play it... With the Spyro's adventure characters...

So yeah, classics were awesome, they should sell them as anniversary, like they did with Halo Combat Evolved, with modern graphics, and available for download.

My favourite is ANB Spyro. He will never be replaced by some other guy from skylands. But I do like hero's tail spyro as well.

I love all Spyros.So what he may look different he is still Spyro,I give no ****s and about what anyone else Classic,Legend and Skylander Spyro are all beautiful in their own ways and I will always remember all three.

Skylanders spyro isn't that bad, but my personal preference has to be legend spyro. I find him a tiny bit looking like a gremlin, but, hey, that's my opinion.
