Is Thumpy Rare anymore? [CLOSED]

He is semi common now. Regularly in stock at gamestop and Target had a few when I was there the other day. Same with Eyebrawl too.

Darn! Just when I thought I was cool. smilie Is smilie still rare? I see him a lot where I come from. If I've learned one thing it's that Skylanders never stay rare and you are a fool to pay more for them.

He is becoming more common as he was in the W3 Giants Box. Still semi hard to find. I think skylanders start rare become common and then become rare!

I was at my local Target today and they had both Thumpy and Eyebrawl on the pegs. They seem like they are getting common now, at least in AZ.

Yeah it's slightly harder than a coin toss. 40% odds sounds good. Semi-available or semi-hard depending on where you live.

GOD NO! I was at some local stores today, and all stores I went to were flooded with EB and TB.

Personally I no longer consider a Skylander to be rare or hard to find when I walk into a Meijer store and see multiple of each on the shelves. This is now the case with Thumpback and Eye brawl. My local Meijer had about 6 of each just last night.

TB is not that hard to find anymore. Stores have tons of TB and EB. The giant I don't see often is now Bouncer.

A good point. I still see Bouncer packs lingering on the shelves at BJ's locations, leftover from Christmas 2012. If anyone wants one of them, probably look there.

WalMart here has Hot Head, Eye Brawl, Thumpback and Crusher. The one I *need* and probably missed (argh!) is Swarm.

Now that Wave 4 has hit the streets, Thumpy/Eye-Brawl/Hot Head are more common in my area. Crusher is also getting some time on the shelves...

Given time, no skylander is rare...it's just when you are looking for them in the release cycle that makes them appear so. It looks like trying to look for these things AFTER they are released in waves is an exercise in futility, though...since it seems stores are getting random re-stocks (oberving SSA). It will be interesting to see how they handle SG after the waves are complete.

I'm guessing three packs only for the most part, with modest single updates.

Three packs are more rare this time round it seems. I am not sure why. The Wal-Marts I visit don't seem to have anything but the Wave 1 triple packs. Only reason I can think of is because they have two reposes in them and one newlander and most of the new landers can be had in a single.

I'm wildguessing it's to maximize single sales and thus their bottom line. My guess is we'll see nothing but 3-packs starting this summer.

I went to a Gamestop and they had 15 Thumpys and 15 Eyebrawls . They are soooo overstocked (sadly my dad wouldn't let me get one smilie)
