He is the only normal skylander not to be out in some way, so that means he will be in a wave by him self just like Wham-Shell. Only question is will he be as hard to find?

Drobot has always been one of those flooded Skylanders. He won't be hard to find, because 1: Not everyone wants Series 2 figures, and 2: I still see single pack Series 2 Drobots all over the place.

I assure you, no character will end up like Wham Shell.

edit: Pretty sure he means series 1 or LC drobot. Not even the greatness that is GM can see unreleased skylanders on toy shelves

I wish I had mine. He's the last thing for my Tech collection and then I can finally say I'm done with Skylanders until Swap Force figures become dirt cheap like the SSA ones are.

What about LC Hex?

I think GameMaster means he sees Series 1 Drobot all around. I also really doubt his being rare. Spyro, maybe a little (lots of Spyro fans), but Drobot already has two forms you see all the time already. Lightcore Hex will be slightly harder to find, but I doubt "hard" by any means.

Ironically, I find Wham-Shell to be a very effective character in the actual game (at least for Spyro's Adventure). I know lots of people are attracted to Wham-Shell because of his historical "hard to find" status, but I wonder if people realize he's really effective in-game?

He is my favorite guy to use in Giants. I was really sad when they didn't remake him.

^ I agree, I've wondered that before too!! Half of the un-reposed figures were on my main "squad"- Camo, Wham-Shell, Sunburn and Warnado, it was quite disappointing indeed!!!!

After the latest triple pack comes out (i.e. Fright Rider/Wrecking Ball/Flameslinger) there will be exactly seven figures that aren't yet in one at all:

Drobot / Bash / Spyro / Hex / Cynder / Jet Vac / Slam Bam

If we assume that there will be two more triple packs (and GameStop's website having placeholders for nine would seem to corroborate it): there will be one left over.

^ Don't you think the one left over would be either Jet-vac or Cynder due to the plethora of their unwanted single packs (Cynder at least cuz JV isn't out yet) and the fact that those two were initailly in all the starter packs?? That would make the most sense... think about it, if a triple pack is $25 and you don't need one of the figures, you're totally wasting $5 on something you already have, making that triple pack less desired/sell-able. I think this is the same reason why the S1 Spyro/GG/Trig Happy were never put in a single or 3 packs!!

I doubt Jet-Vac or Cynder will get put in a triple pack. They had to release them in singles this time incase people bought the portal owners pack. Otherwise I don't think they would have released them in singles. Although I always wonder about the people from the first game who didn't buy a console version of the game did.

Jet-Vac is actually in a three pack also. The legendary one.

This is true... I didn't count the re-skins or in-game variants since they're not the same figure that was in the starter pack!! lol If there really are 2 more triple packs, I would not be surprised at all if either Cynder or Jet-Vac was the leftover character!!

I honestly think the remaining triple packs would be this -

Fright Rider/Wrecking/Flame
Hex/Slam/Spyro
Bash/Drobot/Jet

I don't think Cynder will be in a triple pack. Could be wrong, but that's my predictions.

I think Bash will be in one because he is pretty rare this time around.

I noticed that they always chuck in 1 Newlander with two reposes. I'm going to guess four will be left out this time just because of that though... It's Activision...

Bash/Spyro/Zap

Chop Chop is forever alone

Not really because he was in a battlepack with Shroomboom.

Where are you? And where in PA is your cousin? I'm in central PA and there are a good number of MHD in my local Walmart....

If you are having problems finding him, try the site to store on walmart.com. Pretty safe way to get him.

probably accurate, although for me, I'd prefer 3 pack8 just be Spyro/Drobot/whoever (hex, slam or Bash) and that be it as I see no reason to make a 3 pack with a character no one has (S2 Spyro or S2 Drobot) that also includes a character most people do have (JV/Cynder)

Activision will do just what you said. They will now make a three pack with spyro, JV and Cynder now!

We can't discuss availability about a character that hasn't been released. According to CEO Eric Hirshberg, Drobot is one of the "core" characters of the series. He's going to be around in LOTs of quantity...trust me. This wasn't a direct quote but it was inferred when he was discussing the "reposed" characters.
