This girl was hot and very open minded. If we weren't out clubbing at The Forum or City Walk (two popular clubs in my city), or at the local water and amusement park, we were hanging out at the mall, going to movies, or sitting at home playing against each other at Worms, Soul Calibur, and Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.

You can be hot and partake in nerd activities.

Also, the couple in the pic she posted were fairly attractive as well. Some people just need to try to make themselves feel big by putting others down.

No, Zap. This topic doesn't need to die, because you're not getting your way. If you do that, I hope it burns a lot of bridges against you, because that's messed up. People are savoring the moment after our victory in getting most of wave 4 in the span of a day. To close it, is just acting childish.

Despite buying all of the latest games, old school FTW. I go all the way back to the NES, but some great games came out in the 90's, including games like Puzzle and Pocket Fighter.

I used to have Pocket Fighter on PS1. However, I got rid of it back when I used to trade in games. I do own it, though, due to owning the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology on PS2. So, I have it in its original arcade form.

EDIT: Indeed, Derek. Getting the whole package is icing. She was hot, very nice, and open minded. My step dad, to this day, always asks details about her (yuck). He can't stop mentioning 38D, if you know what I mean. I was in a funk over the past decade, due to us breaking up. She was an excellent girlfriend, and I kinda treated her like crap. It's a blessing I have another chance with her, if I seek it. Sometimes I feel like she and I were soulmates. I saw her for more than those 38D;s, though. I saw an open-minded angel, who was always too nice in a hateful world. There needed to be more cheerleaders like her.

I got my e-mail and the money has already been deducted from my account for Wrecking Ball and Spyro.

NES was a great system. I am definitely old school in gaming. I even remember the atari 2600. (Heck, half the reason I love Skylanders is because it reminds me of Gauntlet)

Ok, now for a sec of really nerding out, I actually did Pocket Fighter Skit at Katsucon years ago. We had props, sound effects, everything. I even still have the road sign and the gems I made.

I wish gaming was what it was in the 90's. Instead of all of the FPS shooting (Halo is forgiven due to lan parties), my friends and I would all get together (with Wendy in tow; she's the cheerleader I keep mentioning) and play games like Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) Worms and Worms Armageddon (PS1 and Dreamcast), and WCW/NWO Revenge (N64). Aki made the best wrestling games back then. They were always so fun. I wish Aki still makde wrestling games, but it looks like Def Jam Vendetta or Ultimate Muscle was their last wrestling style games.

GM, if you have another chance with her should you seek it, and you think she may be your soul mate, stop talking to us and call this girl. I felt the same way about Vhraina when we were dating and didn't waste much time asking her to marry me. Now we're three years wed, have a second child on the way, and our biggest argument to this day lasted less than half an hour. I think that era of gaming was special because anything was possible. Games were complex enough to be interesting, but simple enough to be done with relative ease. Now most things are too formulaic. Take what was successful and clone it off. Same with music.

I remember those old N64 wrestling games they were the best. They have gone down hill since then. I remember Wrestlemania 2000 and WWF No Mercy. I want to pick up a N64 just for those games. What is a good price for a N64 these days?

Until she moves out (she has been packing and such), I would just feel dirty, even though I'm single. Wendy knows this. She's never liked Kristi. Back when Wendy and I were going out, Kristi would stop at nothing to try and break us up. Kristi was fully involved in the May 3rd, 1999 F5 tornado that hit Midwest City, Oklahoma. I told Wendy she should have never said this, but she wished Kristi would have died in that tornado. Of course, Wendy was 18 at the time, and I was turning 21 that year, and Kristi was 16, so stupid things were always said.

Wendy seemingly liked me for me, while Kristi has admitted to only getting with me because I looked like Howie from the Backstreet Boys at that time (yuck). I don't see it at all, but maybe it was because back then I slicked back my hair like he did, lol.

In anycase, it shows that getting with people for the wrong reasons can be bad. Kris and I had some good times, no doubt, and we have 3 awesome kids that I don't regret for a second, but Kris can be downright mean, and if something is nerdy in her eyes, one shouldn't partake in it.

Wendy, as of this writing has grown to love anime. She has watched more anime than I have. Add another notch to her cool factor there.

You should be able to find one on Ebay for around 50. Could be one of the color ones, too. I have the N64 exclusive TRU gold system with 2 gold controllers. Still got the box and all.

I own WCW/NWO Revenge as well. I won't ever get rid of that, incase I have what I like to call an old school get together, where we play some old school multiplayer games.

While we're on the note of those old AKI wrestling games, WWF No Mercy still gets about as much play with my old friends and I as Goldeneye does.

Although, I'm of the opinion that the new games are the pinnacle of digital entertainment. Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Borderlands, Unfinished Swan, Walking Dead... even Skylanders to a certain degree. I've played more truly jaw-dropping games in the last few years than ever before. The classics will always have a fond place in my heart, but what they're doing with games these days is just insane from the perspective of a kid who started in the '80s on an old Atari.

Guys - can you take this off-topic chat to the off-topic forum? I keep seeing there's new posts in this thread and I keep refreshing to see if there's something new about the wave 4 figures only to see chat that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Besides, it's easy to start another Wave 4 topic. Although, I think, and I hope, that Zap will see reason on this and leave the current one open. Taking all these shots at him isn't helping though. He's a kid and we're all adults. We can take a jab or two and keep ticking. Heck, we take repeated shots at one another on a daily basis, and the next morning, nobody even cares.
