Black Drill Sergeant????? [CLOSED]

Someone told me today that there was a black Drill Sergeant that was exclusive to Wal-Mart. I am a bit skeptical and can't find any info about it. I'm calling BS, but figure I would check with all you Skylanders experts.

Gonna call "BS" on this for now. It's the first I've heard of it, and I've found the crew at this forum and a couple other blogs to be very "in the know" about everything Skylanders.

No, last year for SSA, walmart had drill sergeant exclusive to themfor a few months. The walmart drill sergeants have all black bases, no silver.

There's a red-gummi DS that is limited to WallyWorld, but I've not heard of a black one, sorry.

^ This... WERDS is also showing up again at many Walmart locations, so I think they could still be producing him for some reason!

True I just bought mine last week. Or it cud be they are just overstock from warehouse which they are clearing now to make more room.

Theres tons of red drills at my walmart too. Im kind of tired of seeing it!

When series 1 drill sergeant first came out it was a walmart exulsive. These drill sergeants mostly had no silver on the gears on the base, making there bases almost all black.
Even after he was made available to all stores people were finding ones with black bases still.
But like the red lipped chill, they quickly became hard to find.

Well, since there are so many and no one is willing to buy them, then maybe you should... (Can't believe I'm about to suggest this) Scalp them and sell them on Ebay? I'm sure there are collecters out there who didn't get a chance at red DS and are looking for a good buy.

The only ones on eBay with bids are at below retail price. Trying to second hand them would be an exercise in losing money.

Maybe waaaay down the road, but not worth it to sit on them for that long.
