That sounds like it can be abused like hell. I see why you'd want it, but I'd also see it as a means for touchy users to ignore any posts from what would otherwise be valid comments. If used correctly, then it could be a useful feature, but it certainly can be used as an unjustified "talk to the hand" mechanism.

Yes, I think this is a good idea, as some users have really gotten on my nerves in the past, and I just wished that I could somehow "erase" them from the forum, and this is one good way of doing that, I think it's a way to stop, or reduce the drama. Or maybe if there is too much drama going on between two users, the admin can take control of them not being able to "see" each other until it has calmed down at a later date.

I think that the last admin thing ya said is a actually a really good idea!

I don't really use blocking or ignoring though, but for those who do
the admin having control over who can and can't see eachother sounds great.
