Actually you are only partly kinda right as in you got 1 out of like 15. You said last week they were all out. Anyways, I am in a foul mood right now. So I will be done!

Just picked up a couple of Ninjini's from TRU. Buy one get one 40% off. they had about 10 on the shelf!

I stand corrected from my earlier/last skeptical post in this thread. I talked to a rep at the local Toys R Us and he confirmed the Ninjini release tomorrow morning, but in very limited quantities. Also found the "Hot Toy Alert" in my Inbox when I got home from work just now.

Question for people here that are more veteran at these release events than I am .... if your local Toys R Us opens @ 10 AM, how early should one arrive outside the store? Do people actually stand in line outside the locked doors like I've seen in the past for stuff like concert tickets?

Since it's during a school/work day and my TRU opens at 10am, I am planning on trying to get there around 9:30.

Yeah, sometime around 9:30 should be fine. For Wave 3 on 12/21, it was me and a friend and two others picking through the boxes when they opened, and the other two had *just* gotten there when they opened. I didn't go for Thumpback, I got him the week before at Gamestop.

I know how I will get one now.

Just wanted to confirm that during the Ninjini release at Toys R Us this morning, they did not have any other new characters for sale. I'm sure the rest of the "Wave 4" figures will be available sporadically over the next few weeks, but for the moment, the release at TRU was *just* Ninjini only.

One (more) nice thing about the Ninjini release at TRU today is that it nearly instantly drove the Ebay price for Ninjini down from $300 to about $50. Hopefully that trend will continue and people who purchased Ninjini for $300 recently will feel embarrassed and ashamed! :-)

For what it's worth (small sample size, I know), the dozen or so people who were in line outside the door with me @ TRU this morning were apparently all parents (mostly moms, but some dads, too). I talked casually with most of them, and I didn't get the feel that anyone there was a "scalper". I suppose someone could have been faking that s/he is a parent (how lame would that be?) just to "fit in" with the crowd, but I doubt it.

Must have missed out on all the Ninjini's at the Aurora, IL TRU. I got there at about 10:30

FWIW, Target stores got new shipments in this morning, however, nothing but the previously released figures and packs. I have been seeing a lot more Spyro Adventure packs in stores. Still looking for a Darklight pack, but at this rate, I should eventually wander across it.

Same experience here. All parents I talked to, and I am pretty sure they weren't scalpers because no one even asked to get more than one Ninjini.

Same thing here as well. Seemed like mostly parents waiting in line. The store I went to got 20 in and there were 15 of us in line waiting. By the time we got checked out and left the extra 5 were gone so they went quick. The TRU I was at was limiting her to 1 per customer which I thought was a good thing to help make sure everyone got one. I was going to try to get some of the S2 figures I hadn't been able to find as of yet but no luck as they only had SA figures out.

Also got lucky today and went to Walmart to pick up another case for my Skylanders and they had pegs and pegs full of Molten Hot Dog so got him also!

I too picked one up today. I showed up at around 9:50 and was surprised to see only 12 parents in line. I was thankful since I had to drive 20 minutes from my downtown office. My store had 20 to give out and were limited to 1 per person. They were gone by the time I cashed out. It was a great surprise for my son who did very well on his math test, after studying for a long time (he has learning disabilities and struggles everyday at school). I did see some shady characters show up as I cashed out. They looked disappointed and had one guy follow me out to my car. He looked as though he wanted to talk to me. Just ignored him and went on my way. He then approached some other people who walked out after me that I know did not get any.

they didnt even had the figures on the shelves the guy said he would check the back and brought out the box, there were about maybe 12 in the box, the guy literally said "why dont you just buy the whole box so i dont have to put them on display" lol i bought 2 one for me and one for my little bro

She is NOT out! One lucky dude does NOT make a release. If ten (10) more people post pics and receipt I will consider her being available. But I'd bet no one else will find either of these today, tomorrow or any time until next week.

If you do a search at target.com for "jade flashwing" it shows up:

as available in stores yet currently unavailable online. However when I do a local search every Target from close to home to as far out as 80 miles are "out of stock".

Now take another character-Bash http://www.target.com/p/skylan...term=skylanders and do the same and you will see him pop up in EVERY Target store.

For me this is further proof that its not out. Just a lucky guy.
