I got my Ninjini today.... Thanks to another Snow Day at work!


Question for everyone on her purple gloves.. mine has two what I would call blemishes. It appears that when they were making her mold this is where they tore of the other plastic, do anyone of yours have it? I am just curious and will try and post pics later my phone is dead at the moment.

I looked at a few and none were perfect.

Mine has minor blemishes as well. Nothing I'm upset over.

Yeah, I am not upset or anything as I will be more picky when I get mine to keep sealed. I was just curious, I didn't have much choice anyways I got the lastone!

I never concern myself with small imperfections. Of course, we open all of our boxes and actually PLAY with the figs, so they are bound to get nicked and bumped at some point.

Ours has the mold pops on the corners of her gloves as well, pretty much in the exact spot you describe. Pretty sure this is going to be standard.

Yep, mine has those same marks. That looks like where they removed the sprue. All the ones I saw today have them, although I wouldn't be surprised if these were rushed a bit, and future releases might not have that, or at least it might not be so obvious.

On mine, her right hand sword has a bit of purple (it looks like the model's primary color is purple) so it looks a bit off but nothing horrible. Cant complain, at least I got her.

Yes, mine have them. The plastic is probably the glove color, so that part isn't painted so it can't be covered over with paint. At least it appears the same place on both so it is consistent.

Also, on one of the swords on mine the paint is blended a bit on the rear sword (right hand) near the hilt. Like when they painted the blade they didn't completely cover the hilt paint all the way up. Not bad, just a mild thing. Not complaining though, I'm really impressed with Ninjini's model now that I have actually seen it. Awesome looking with great detail. I had never noticed her bottle on her back in earlier images, or the darker highlights in her hair.

Yeah, it seems the first wave of the last few giants have seemed rushed.

My Ninjini has a rough patch or scuff on her purple wrist. It's nothing bad, but noticeable. I don't care because my kids will probably cause some blemishes to occur anyways.

Does anyone know when they'll be shipping more Ninjinis to TRU? I wasn't able to get one today...was this like an early release, or will TRU be getting her in regularly now?

Usually how it works Trigger is they get them anywhere from two days to a 14 days before other stores get them. We should see them in other places by the 10th of March or so. As far as shipping more to TRU, I don't have a clue as most stores have different schedule for deliveries.

Mine has them. And the prototype had them, too.

Also, I notice most of them have strange nicks in their ears.

Now that you mention that Matteomax, I do see her right ear has a chunk missing out of it. Like a vampire tried to bite her.

mine also have the same imperfections,
but i went the extra mile and painted little details on her i like my figures looking as much as possible as their resemblance as the in game model, so i painted the little gems on her belt also painted her hair the appropriate red color

Selling 15 skylanders a minute I'm sure they will be rushing for everything for sometime to come. When the dollars stop rolling I'm sure they'll start looking at QA.

Clearly the wrist defect is a super rare variant. We should all head to eBay at once!

Really rare if yours got part of its ears bitten off like mine!
