so what do you guys think? no matter what, i can't wait for the next game. if this turns out to be real, we may get a game with heavier focus on AC3's naval battles. and that would be AWESOME!

Ubisoft said there will never be an Assassins Creed in WWII. As for the title, I think this is gonna be what the game's about, but it's not called black flag.

Also I heard on Gameinformer that in this one you play as Haythan's father. For those of you who don't know who he is,

On the back of my Assassin's Creed III booklet it has up at the top "Your Next Creed Insanity III"

Can't wait, I always love the Assassin's Creed games so bring it on. Looks like its a pirate theme and if what SnoicGX98 said is true then it makes sense now xD

It has 60 minutes worth of exclusive content on PS3. So if you have a PS3, best get it there.

And then Assassin's Creed 4 turns out to be NOTHING but ship combat. <.<;

I'm not all that hyped up for it to be honest, I've only just got into the series with III, and it's a pretty decent game, I just want to get the prequels, so I'm not really interested in this, although now, it does seem they're going to try and milk the franchise.

Exactly. :I If they wanted to make a title like this it at least should have a name other than "Assassin's Creed IV."

I got AC 1 and 2 to try get into the series but despite how cool it looked, never got into it so sold them later on.

Hopefully this will mean that we'll get more out of ACIII's Naval Battles. Maybe they could include you actually boarding other ships and fighting the other crew. Wonder if Blackbeard will be in this?

Pft, everyone knows Blackbeard is overrated. It's "Minty Green With a Hint of Yellow"-Beard that really gets all the booty... ARRR. <.<;

I can tell I'm going to love this game, since I love pirates.

Ancient Egypt, China or WWII are all really **** settings for AC games. Pirates on the other hand - woah! We've got some original ideas here guys! -Ubisoft Logic

This whole game is literally going to revolve around the naval warfare concept from AC3 for the whole game with one large free roam map on some Caribbean island. This should just be DLC for AC3 - or maybe even just a cheaper game, not a full priced game.

Still... I'll probably end up buying it if I can find it for cheap, but only for the continuation to the main story; the animus story felt like a chore in AC3 and if it's the same in AC4 then it'll most likely be the final game I buy in the series.

Yep, I just can't help but think that too.
We kind of experienced the whole "pirate" them in Creed III.
Do we really need a game based around the whole thing?

Well, We could Wait till Watch Dogs comes out, which is basically Assassins Creed today.
