*Link notched a light arrow and shot it at the minion*

Zelda: Is Ultra Mirthkir in space again?

*Link shoots another one*

Link: Yeah, I think so,we still got that rocket?

Zelda: No.

Link: Of coarse we don't.

BOOM GOES THE ROCKETS

[I can I look cute or sexy, but the advantage of being an anthropomorphized creature, is that I am like a human, but in contrast to our physical appearance.]
[Anyway, I can iguaar things that can make ordinary human, but in my case, I'm better, because I have the advantage of being a pegasus (flying with my wings), and I can easily persuade unsuspecting humans. And for that I can not, I'll put a blow or use my weapons .]

The minion pointed its giant cannon at Blisterius, and began to charge it.

As Blisterius stared down the barrel of the massive cannon, his mind raced as he stood there, paralyzed with fear. He knew he was about to die. Then an idea dawned on him.

Blisterius: *thinking* I could use this to get inside to the core! But how am I going to do that without getting blasted to pieces?

With no better idea, he prepared himself for the worst. He flared up as his body temperature began to rise. He surrounded himself with a fire shield. It was not guaranteed to protect him, but it was better than nothing.

[Oh no. I was afraid this would happen. It's undeniable: I've got writer's block.]

The cannon fired its powerful blast.

"THEY REQUESTED MERCY. IT WAS DENIED."

[What happens here is up to you.]

Bulbasaur? Bulba, bulba, Bulbasaur? BULBASAUR!

Translation: "What? We get to eat the cannon? PLEASE!

Bulbasaur? Bulba, bulba, Bulbasaur? BULBASAUR!

Translation: "What? We get to eat the cannon? PLEASE!

Bulba. Bulbasaur Bulba Bulbasaur.
Translation: "Good. I do not like mercy."

Blisterius emitted a stream of flames with the power of a dragon's breath to block the oncoming blast from the cannon. The air around them slowly rose in temperature, becoming very hot, a heat strong enough to make even a blaze weary. He could feel his strength thinning away. He could not keep the blast at bay for much longer...

[By the way, what kind of cannon are we talking about here? Like a laser cannon or a classic bomb cannon?]

*Link shoots more light arrows*

The minion kept up the laser blast for several seconds, at least.

"LOWLY MORTALS STRUGGLING AGAINST THE IMMORTAL."

Epona charged foward again.

*Minion shoots Link and he falls off of Epona*

Link: I'm okay! I'm okay! Epona, I'll give you some thing to help you battle! Zelda! Din's Fire!

*Zelda throws a fire ball at Link and he catches it in a jar with a potion*

Link: Drink this and you can breathe fire!

*Link puts down the jar and begins to fight on foot with his sword*

[Not sure who's waiting on who here...]

Blisterius kept holding the ray back. His body temperature began to drop and his light dimmed as he lost strength. He was beginning to feel pain as he cried out in agony. He needed help. Fast.

Something hit and damaged the minion's cannon, forcing it to stop firing.

[I do kinda need icedragon to post...]

Epona drank the fire from the bottle.

Blisterius collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath. His flames had nearly been extinguished, which could result in an ultimate demise for a being of fire. He slowly reheated as he staggered to his... er... feet. Although he was no longer under attack, he was in a weakened state, burning at only the temperature of a campfire. He looks around nervously.

Blisterius: I wonder what made the minion stop firing at me... Well, whatever it was, I'm glad it stopped.
*turns attention to Treetop*
Why didn't you do anything to help me? I could have died!

Treetop: I'm just a squid with a portal gun! There's nothing I could have done without altering the plot too badly. Besides, you're still okay.
...You're not mad at me, are you?

Blisterius: No. I understand. You probably would have gotten obliterated out there. I'm happy you stayed safe. That aside, we've got to focus on taking this thing down. I'm not quite sure how we can do that without putting our lives at risk though.

[Yep. More writer's block.]
[I think this is like the third time I've broken the fourth wall now?]

As Withertail flew into the atmosphere, Mare's words rang in his head.

"You act as if I am weak."

Withertail:You give a women a compliment, and she thinks you're insulting her. Sheesh. This is why I will never have a queen to rule the Nether with me.
I feel you, bro.

[Ah crap. It would seem that we're falling off the radar. Sorry for bumping.]
[It also looks like icedragon forgot about this again...]

[Sorry guys, I was unable to access the site until now.]

The giant minion's cannon appeared to be stuck, as the minion could not undeploy it. It began to fire other weapons instead.

[Yeah, it does look like icedragon forgot again...]

Blisterius saw this as a chance to attack. He readied himself as he flared up, his body radiating searing flames.

Blisterius: *to Treetop* If I don't come back alive... tell Shaydes I love her.

Treetop: Who now?

Blisterius: She's an enderwoman. Not going to bring her in. Alright. Here goes nothing.

Withertail continued into space. A few times he thought he saw a pair of glowing white eyes in the distance. When he went over to them, they vanished from sight. Someone... or something was watching him...

[I guess that would have made more sense if I hadn't introduced Herobrine into the story yet... oh well.]
[And it doesn't look like icedragon's going to post anytime soon... should one of us PM her? Or should we keep waiting?]

Mare Mortuum decided to humor him, projecting an amused thought into his head.

"That's because you are in comparison to me, my dear."


The void star hovering near the planet suddenly disappeared, with an audible *POP* to go with it.

"This is getting boring... really fast." Her voice sounded... dull, tired, as if this entire fight was taking place to amuse her.

Strange, pulsating lights of nearly every color of the spectrum started forming around the planet at her will, they did not seem to be of malicious intent however.

(I cannot for the life of mine find...)

[Also, random detail: Ultra Mirthkir actually is neither organic nor mechanical, despite looking like a machine. I suppose one could say he is actually a energy being at his core, who takes a physical form so his terrible might may be beheld by mortals.]

Withertail did not respond. He knew it was true. Most of his power was given to him by Herobrine, and the only things he could control on his own were life, death, wind, and fire. He did not let her know this, however. He had noticed that the sky seemed to be missing several stars, ones that hadn't been taken by Mare Mortuum. And he couldn't shake the feeling that something was following him. He was paranoid. Something was amiss...

Meanwhile, on the planet, Blister was dodging the beams, looking for an opening in the minion's defenses. There did not appear to be any. He sighed as he hopelessly tried to burn a hole into the side. It was not very effective. He knew he could not do this alone. Treetop probably could not do much to help, and he knew that there were already enough members in his party.

[Even though the minion seems to be focused more on Blisterius, I think I'll give awesomerockets a chance to post, since Link is attacking too.]

Epona ran over to some random minion and started breathing fire at it.

The lights that had finished forming around the planet began to converge above a mountain range. The now pulsating mass of light began descending into the mountain directly below it.


Upon touching solid ground it began to shrink, then rapidly expand until it had consumed the mountain, then compressing again, taking on a rather large equine form.

Large feathered wings shot outwards, ready for flight, as her eyes opened, deep pits of white that look like they had seen eons pass by like wind on a stormy day.

For whatever reason, Mare Mortuum has taken physical form again, and the look on her face showed that she would fight to keep it.

The three remaining minions in space quickly began to fire upon Mare Mortuum, with the battleship minion on the planet continuing to engage Blisterius.

Mare Mortuum screams were heard for miles, but they were not those of pain or agony, they were strained cries as she held back the their attacks while preparing a stronger counterattack.

A Swirling maelstrom of energy had formed behind her shield.

"Not this time! NOT THIS TIME!" She yelled furiously as she pushed the shield forwards.

Ultra Mirthkir watched silently, waiting without emotion to see how much longer the minions lasted, while they continued their attacks. The minions never showed any hesitation at all.

The shield continued it's skyward ascent, glowing brighter as it did.

The Maelstrom of magical energies also began ascending, growing in size and ferocity each meter.

Mare Mortuum's hooves began digging into the ground, stone forming halfway up her legs, like she was bracing herself for something.

Hundreds of millions of miles away, a Type O star began a journey towards a certain planet, specifically drawn in by an unbelievably angry mare.

The minions began to focus their separate beams into one to make a single, extremely powerful beam.

[By the way... I have no idea what the significance of this 'type O' stuff is. Mind explaining?]

The shield stopped moving, causing the soup of magical energies to naturally catch up.

Mare Mortuum couldn't have that, she needed to get it away from the planet, she needed it to be in space, so she reach further into her magic, the shield now slowly edged towards space.

Down below, on the planet, Mare Mortuum's hooves dug further into the ground, despite her precautions to such a thing.

The minions charged their weapons further, trying to make them more powerful still.

"I FIND YOU ALL LACKING. INCAPABLE OF TRUE UNDERSTANDING. INFERIOR IN EVERY WAY."

The shield continued to press on, albeit, even slower than before.

Mare Mortuum screamed with anger, her voice echoing from the planet's surface.


"Why do you persist to insult me? Why? Does it entertain you? Do you find pleasure in these pointless insults?"

"YOU DISAPPOINT ME. SURELY YOU'RE CAPABLE OF MORE THAN THIS."

Ultra Mirthkir seemed to be purposely trying to provoke Mare Mortuum.

"I disappoint you? NEWS FLASH, I DON'T CARE!"

The planet shook with her words as her projected shield and storm of many magical energies progressed ever further towards space.

The minions were doing everything they could to stop her, as Ultra Mirthkir fell silent once again.

Blisterius: Oh man. This does not look good. Even though it probably won't help, I'll take down this minion. But how to get inside....
*remembers the cannon*
*facepalm* STUPID STUPID STUPID!

He creates a decoy of himself out of fire to try and create a distraction. He flew into the cannon straight to the core. He could feel the energy of the corrupted star, could feel its warmth and otherworldly power. This is where centuries of miserable life in the Nether was about to pay off. It truly was his final trial.

[And now to wait for input from Zith...]

A beam of ice was fired at Blisterius.

The core's defenses had activated.

Blisterius caught full blast of the ice beam. A wave of searing cold shot through his body, feeling like a thousand knives pressed into his rods. For someone who had never seen or felt ice before, the experience was especially shocking.

"Wh-what... what is this sorcery?!"

He fell to the bottom of the chamber, frozen as his temperature sank dangerously low. As he lay there, his life flashed before his eyes, all the times he was shunned by his parents, all the times he was treated as nothing more than a simple flame, all the lives he had ruined, reduced to ashes. He had always thought that he had a better purpose than destruction, but he had never realized it. As he prepared to enter into the afterlife, he remembered Withertail's harsh but caring eyes, they way they glowed even in the darkest of times...

Then it dawned on him.

"I... am... light"

With this thought, the enlightened blaze broke free of his icy tomb, quite literally fired up by his revelation. He shined brighter than ever before, for he had become one with the light. With his newfound power, he focused on converting the dark core. He no longer cared about destroying the battleship minion, but rather to bring light to the darkness. He had had enough of Ultra Mirthkir's corruption.

[This is going pretty slowly, if I do say so myself. I guess that it's partially my fault for having Blisterius (or Ser de Luz, as I call this form) wait until now to get on with it. I'll try to be quicker with things from now on.]
[At least I'm getting some more ideas for when I unleash Herobrine.]

The core defense cannons tried all they could to stop Blisterius (or Ser de Luz if you want me to use that now). Drones attacked too.
