And we live in a global society, so obviously the figures being out overseas means they are out. Many of our forum members use tips like that to locate them, and while I wish any of this was serviceable knowledge to me personally, the truth is that it doesn't matter. The figures are out.

Well, again, went to Walmart. All Walmarts show on order. No wave 4. No calls from Gamestop, Best Buy, or Toys R Us friends.

Eh, I'm not going to my Walmart unless there are official sightings, or online orders of Wave 4.

I mainly went for Hot Dog. I don't expect anyone to have a single wave 4 figure, found in a US store, this week.

I may even stop going for Hot Dog. It's been a bust for the better part of a week.

Just my speculation. Molten Hot Dog in all Walmarts first week of March. Jade Flashwing in all Targets third week of March. They are actually exclusive patience skylanders to help everyone relax in the month of March, till an April wave 4 release.

Although I'd really love to get those "cool points" there's no DPCI for jade as of yet. As you must know, all the single characters are set up under one DPCI. There was a DPCI set up for Granite Crusher though (207/00/1144), and it looks like that's the placeholder for now.

One thing to note. In the same St. Patricks Day ad as the one Jade will be featured, you'll also see a single-character hot dog pictured. In the past, Target has shown characters that have not been out yet (like Thumpback in early January), so I'm not guaranteeing that Hot Dog will be in stores (Jade IS a guarantee). But if Activision asked us to show Hot Dog, then that's a good sign that they expect him to be in stores by this time. And yes...Target now has the Scorpion Striker battle pack in some stores, but this isn't that. It's Hot dog at a single-character price.

That DPCI you listed, Lesty - ironically - is an exclusive number for Skylander exclusives at Target. It was the same number used for exclusive Whirlwind. I noticed it was also used for Granite, making me wonder if it's going to be used for Jade.

The other Skylander singles, have always had the DPCI - 207-00-1140

So, I guess I will keep an eye out using that 1144 DPCI, as it seems Target keeps recycling that DPCI for their exclusives.

Hmm, I guess you are right, I'm just getting tired of ZapNorris posting false information everywhere.

It's true that there has been a lot of sensationalism in this thread, from both sides. On one side, we're hearing that every remaining toy is going to be released at once almost immediately. On the other, we're hearing that we need to temper our expectations and brace for an April release. Personally, I don't think either of those statements is accurate, I'm just here to stick up for the factual knowledge we do have, which seems to indicate that some sort of wide release is very close.

Wave 4 singles are in at least one part of Europe, meaning that production on the figures has concluded and they are shipping. That doesn't give us a firm date here, but they never give us firm dates.

Molten Hot Dog is out in the U.S. a little ahead of schedule, which is nice. Boxes do say "W4" on them, which is more or less an official acknowledgement that Wave 4 releases did indeed show up in stores slightly before the start of the 2/22-3/8 window.

L.LC Chill is printed and released in Canada, but that can mean a wide variety of things for her US release.

GameStop has posted stock images of the new figures, which historically has indicated a release was imminent, but if there's one thing we know about Activision, it's that history is often not a predictor. In any case, they do confirm the assortment, which includes S2 Spyro and Wrecking Ball, Ninjini, LC Pop Fizz and Chill, and a single of Hot Dog.

KaBoomEr and UncleBob, credible sources of insider information, say to brace for a release anywhere from today through the middle of March. The stock images and scattered releases to this point seem to substantiate their claims, as does the fact that KaBoomEr accurately called the assortment before we had any way of knowing he was correct.

Jade Flashwing also surprisingly showed up in the Netherlands, proving at least that they are boxed and shipping. Several sources are telling us to prepare for a Target release around St. Patrick's Day, and while this isn't 100% confirmed, it's at least solid enough to begin preparing for.

That's all we know so far, and people are free to interpret that information as they like, just so long as they acknowledge it has a factual basis. We don't have a hard date, but everyone saying not to even bother looking when clearly there is reason to shop around is only hurting the forum's collective chances of getting the new figures early. That's why I'm taking such a hard line on skepticism. I don't believe they'll show up tomorrow, just that they may, and that one would be insane not to start keeping their eyes peeled at this point. All the signs have already fallen into place.

I apologize if anyone thought I was stating that Darkel (I think that is his correct name, I just got back from working 12 hours and have to be at work in 8 for another 12, so my mind if lagging right now.) was lying or anything. I don't think he is a scalper. People know my thoughts on those kinds. I have to side with what some others have said and that until we have pictures of actual wave 4 boxes or figures I am going to go on the side of prepare for the worst and hope for the best!

Anyways, I did get Molten at my local Wal-Mart tonight.

Again I am sorry, I will only post info that I get straight from the manager.
Speaking of managers, I spoke with him yesterday and I asked if he had any info on the LC/Leg Chill and how they are out outside the US. He checked his email as we were ar a terminal and he had alot of email for the next 2 weeks but no email of any new Wave release any time soon but said that they could still get them but it would not be an official Wave HTA date. I learned my lesson and will only report what I get from the manager. Again I am sorry.

Before I listed them in triple packs, I broke down my predictions on each wave.

I predicted -

x2 Shroom
x2 Hot Dog
x1 Fright Rider

x1 Slam Bam
x1 Trigger Happy, Zook, or Ignitor

However, recently I remembered that Hex was also in wave 2, as was Double Trouble, Gill Grunt, and Sonic Boom. But, with those having already been in triple packs, I put 2 and 2 together to find out what should be in this wave.

It could still be Hex or Bash as the second wave 2 character in wave 4.

This route leaves open two possible triple packs, using Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Bash, Flameslinger, Slam Bam and Fright Rider.

My predictions for wave 5 are -

x2 Jet-Vac
x1 Chill
x1 Drobot
x1 Zap
x1 Chop Chop
x1 Trigger Happy
x1 Zook or Ignitor
x1 Hex
x1 Gill Grunt or Double Trouble
x1 Lightning Rod or Eruptor

This could leave open the 9th triple pack, which could contain Jet-Vac, Drobot, and Hex.

The reason I chose Jet-Vac for a triple, despite the fact he has been in a starter, is because I get this feeling that the Battle Pack characters won't be in triple packs. Every other character has been in a bundle, somehow.

All just a guess. But, in calling out my predictions on past posts, it seems like wave 4 is shaping up closely to how I predicted it would be configured.

I do find it odd. I have only seen the latest 2 triple packs at Gamestop, and that was around the 11th of January. I never seen them at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or Toys R Us.

The source has never been wrong before. Don't re-arrange your schedule yet, but be on the lookout for a HTA. If it doesn't come we will know by 6 or so.

Agree with Defpally. Just got off the phone with the person I deal with at TRU. They are getting Ninjini in today and selling them tomorrow morning.

Last year, Legendary Dad, TRU did a Hot Toy Alert on Tuesday, letting people know about Wednesday, March 21st. That was an event where they first had Zook, Lightning Rod, and Dragon's Peak.

How do you sign up for the hot toy alert?

I remember that last year. Not the HTA, but them getting those figures in around that time. It was after about a month of not having anything at all on shelves. Not only them but everywhere had nothing on the shelves. I will keep an eye out for that HTA!

Got off the phone with my friend at TRU. He said he didn't get an email stating they were arriving or to be prepared for any hot toy alerts.

While on the phone with him, he had just received his FedEx and UPS, and they didn't come in.

Now, I on the phone with another TRU. The manager at this store is a lady and is into Skylanders from what I hear, so she knows her Skylanders 411. She says Ninjini won't be until mid-March. I am still on the phone with them, as they double-check to make sure they didn't get the boxes. I told them it would be marked GSW4, and she's checking now........

I will edit this post once off the phone with this girl.

So far, this could be a case of YMMV. Not saying the CAG dude is lying, but so far, 2 TRU's don't seem to have them after their shipments have arrived.

If you go to www.toysrus.com and put your email where it says sign up for add'l savings. That should also get you the HTA.
