Yes, but you are rolling the dice on what becomes valuable. Think 9 months ago, at that point what would you have said is valuable, and what would be common? If you said Boomer would be worth a lot and Camo/Warnado readily available in practically ever TRU then you would have been correct. But, you wouldn't have said that would you?

Chase variants are different, because they have built in rarity, and naturally appeal to collectors. Jade Flashwing will be out in very ample supply, if reports are accurate.

Yeah, Target usually doesn't keep variants around long term, but you would just be guessing that based on history. A couple to hang on to wouldn't hurt much, but my point was don't invest too heavily into it.

I'm sure all these variants (Molten Hot Dog, Jade, Polar, etc) will be worth something in another year anyway, after Swap Force comes out. I know you can say, "well, Red Drill isn't nor Glow Sonic Boom" and that's true, but Molten and the others actually appear differently in the game and are essential if you want that complete save file / collection. Red Drill Sergeant doesn't add anything to the game, it's just a regular Drill.

I have a feeling in a year even red drill will be sought after. Have you seen the prices of Blue Bash on ebay?

Well, for collectors it doesn't really matter about in game. Collectors don't really buy it to open or play with. But, you do bring up a good point. GiTD Sonic Boom and Red Drill Sergeant are good examples that variant does not equal valuable (long term, who knows). Of course those are Walmarts variants, and they do tend to stock more of them. Jade Flashwing, who knows - but initial reports are that they will be in high supply (for a while), and Flashwing is already a very, very common figure to find. Granite Crusher really wasn't hard to find at all, not at least until December.

I got to Walmart and grabbed one, and when my mom was at the Register paying, the guy at the register had set aside 3 for himself, though this was at the Cigarrete Register the "20 items or Less" as She also had Groceries.

Is there a list somewhere of all the variants that appear with different skins in-game?

Pretty much the only ones that appear different are.. Gnarly Tree Rex, all of the legendaries, scarlet ninjini, jade flashwing, polar whirlwind and moltion hot dog. The glitter and flocked ones show up as special in the giants but that it is it. The rest from S:SA do not show up as special or different in game.

I know I am missing a few please mention which other ones show up as different.

Royal Double Trouble and Punch Pop Fizz, as well as Dark Spyro from the first game are also variants that show up differently (other than "special").

They canceled my order of 3 Molten Hot Dogs from their website! I am done with buying from their site and I sent them an email to just close my account there. I won't be listing any other things they have for sale and I won't be buying from their site any time soon! I am done with there site they suck...

Or just don't use the account ._. Plus this might've been an early sale like Toys R Us and the Dragonfire BattlePack. Maybe they'll put them up again on March 1st, on OFFICIAL Release Date of MHD/
