Unless Gamestop announces quite soon that they have exclusive on getting wave 4 first, wave 4 won't be out this week. Think about it. Why on earth would TRU run "buy one, get one 40% off" during the release of a new wave?

I am still a little hesitant on saying they will be out this week. Soon, I think. As, I think the Wrecking Ball and Spyro that are up on the Ebay site in the Netherlands came from a Toy Show over there, they gave away the metallic chop chop their also.


ZapNorris, I respect your opinion on this situation. Yes, Gamestop did put up box art. However, I think we maybe jumping the gun just a bit here. I hope I am wrong, however I just still we are couple of weeks away at least.

Molten Hot Dog has made it to the U.S., and I realize that Jade Flashwing is imminent, but they are each store exclusives.

But here's something else. Why would Molten Hot Dog and Jade Flashwing release in such close proximity (a week or a little over) to wave 4? Wouldn't Wal-Mart and Target realize that the release of regular wave 4 figures would cut into their sales of MHD and JF?

Maybe they will get them this week. However, you are all excited again like last week at this time saying they would be out this past Friday. Calm down. They may come out this week, they may not. As far as proof.... being on a web site in the Netherlands for Pre-Sale doesn't make them out. The gamestop thing gives us an idea that the release in coming, but I don't count that as hard proof yet.

They were not. They just seemed to get their stock faster than TRU did this time. Wal-Mart in most cases got it faster.

People keep making a bid deal out of TRU's BOGO 40% off. It's really not.

Regular figures are $10.99 at TRU. So, with the special, two figures will run you $8.79 each. For figures that run $9.99 everywhere else. Granted, $1 off is nice, but isn't anything to get overly excited about.

Zap, you are doing it again. Stock images do not indicate a release date. We saw stock images of the Scorpion Striker a MONTH before release. Yes, I encourage everyone to keep an eye out, but there is no proof of anything. Again, the only things that constitute proof are a release date from a reliable retailer, or actual pics. Everything else is speculation.

^ That's the guy who first posted pics of the figures confirming where he got them. He's not a reviewer and didn't go to the Toy Fair, he's just a regular guy.

Clearly the toys are on pre-order today because the initial stock sold out. It's anyone's choice whether or not to believe the guy who has the figures on his desk, but that's not a valid viewpoint for the purpose of this debate.

Now can we please stop pretending these figures aren't released? Good heavens. Enough with the skepticism. Jade Flashwing is out, Molten Hot Dog is out, L. LC Chill is out, Wave 4 singles are out. The whole thing fits the exact window we were given, and it is seriously time to stop pretending the skeptics can prove anything. There are Holocaust deniers too, but let's be realistic here, just because people say something doesn't make it valid.

There is SUBSTANTIALLY more evidence that the toys are either already shipping or just about to than there is for any prolonged wait. It's not a matter of opinion at all.

Honestly, I don't care if they are out in Canada (LLC Chill) Netherlands (Wb and Spyro) all I care about is if they are out in the country I live in. Being released and just about to be shipped are two totally different things. I agree that it appears they will be out soon. It was you (somewhat) and ZapNorris (mostly.. and I don't have an issue with either of you. You both are good users on here and generally try and help people.) that beginning of last week were calling sightings on Wednesday, which we did see of Molten Hot Dog. However, it was stated many times in many threads that they are out and will show up on Friday at stores. Which was incorrect. No big deal, no one was hurt in that situation. However, I don't see any hard proof that they are out. Are signs pointing? Yes. However, in the US no one has any of the figures unless they got them at the Toy Fair. Gamestop putting up box art to me does not show proof that they are out or just about to ship. If we had more proof the people who are doubting/playing the wait and see game would be way less.

I want ninjini and the rest of the figures. I was always taught prepare for the worst (waiting in this case) and hope for the best (them showing up this week.)

Please keep in mind that I am not trying to flame or start anymore arguments just trying to have an adult discussion on this. Thanks!

I want an adult discussion too, but for me, an adult discussion involves nobody questioning DarkeL's credibility. He has the figures, and he bought them from a store. He's said so himself. I've heard the poor guy called a scalper, an advance reviewer, a Toy Fair attendee, and a whole slew of other explanations to cast doubt on him even owning the figures at all, let alone acquiring them legitimately. Skeptics really don't want to believe he has these toys, because their case that the figures aren't shipping depends on that. But there's no leg to stand on trying to support that point anymore, and we really need to expel it from our discussion.


I respect your opinion too, I just want doubts expressed in this thread to be reasonable in nature, and all reasonable doubt at this point needs to accept that the figures are all boxed up and shipping. Overseas, yes, but nevertheless, in a warehouse, boxed, and shipping. It needs to be acknowledged that at least THIS much is not speculation anymore, but fact.

And yes, the whole wave wasn't out on Friday, but Molten Hot Dog was out on Wednesday, which has to count for something.

I think the bottom line on which we all can agree is that some wave 4 figures clearly are on their way to the U.S. soon. This week? Maybe, maybe not, but the evidence really only points to one thing: that they have indeed been manufactured and are being shipped. What the evidence does not point to, however, is that they will be in U.S. stores sometime this week. That is still just speculation.

Why for the love of ( enter Deity here ) don't the powers to be just release the release dates, stick to them and move on. This is getting old. I'm just saying...

because that would be a first for the toy industry. Toy companies don't have hard release dates the way games do.

and as far as anything from Wave 4 being "out in stores" we still have not seen a single pic of them on the shelves of a retailer. Not a single website offering them for sale right now. Do some people have them? yes. can we confirm how they got them? no. Is wave 4 out right now? not really. no.

Some of you have a very different definition of the word "confirm" than the rest of us. As much as I'd like, some guy on a message board saying "I bought one" is not confirmation. Perhaps if he could scan his receipt and show us that? Simply owning the figs isn't proof they are available for sale. There is no way around that. Confirmed proof would be pictures of them on shelves or websites offering them for sale or store ads indicating they are available. That's "confirmed" proof.

One guy saying "I have them" or 2 or 3 showing up on ebay is nothing but proof that some people got them early. It is not "confirmed" proof they are for sale.

Everyone thought that since Legendary Chill has been out for almost TWO WEEKS in Canada, that means it was coming to stores last week. Look what happened. How long did Canada have L-Stealth before she showed up in the US? 3-4 weeks?

I can't lie, I'm getting tired of people posting information in the heat of the moment, which is leading to a lot of false predictions. If I were a kid, or a parent of a kid who kept tabs on this site for my info, because it's the best I could find, I would be totally ****** off at the way the info is being presented, based on what's going on, on the other side of the world.

These things will be out. NO ONE knows when, not even me. We have all seen this movie before. No wave snuck out on us without knowing, yet everyone is treating this wave as if it will magically appear before our eyes.

I think people just need to chill and quit getting people riled up. It will come out. As for putting certain dates and days on this wave... please stop. Speculating is fun to a point. However, some people depend on this site for accurate information, but I see people acting like kids in a candy store just because something is out. If dates are made aware to us, they will be made aware to us. There's no need to throw false dates and days out there.

I have a manager lady friend at Walmart who has my cellphone number and calls me when new stuff arrives. She isn't the only one. I have a guy friend who works there too, who texts me when new stuff comes in. I have a manager friend at Gamestop who calls me first, when new stuff comes in. He checks his emails everyday just to see if any new Skylanders news comes about. I have 4 friends at a local Best Buy, 2 managers, 2 game department employees, who text me or let me know if they get stuff in.

None of these places have reported getting wave 4 anytime this week.

We have seen this movie before... again. I haven't seen a single wave just sneak out during Giants tenure on shelves. I don't care about what's released overseas, I am talking about the US, which is conducted a little bit better when it comes to the releases of figures, than other countries.

Sorry for the rant and slight explosion. I just can't stand people throwing out faux day and dates, when there is no credibility behind those days and dates.

GM - I'm in Sweden, so Europe info helps me, but yeah, I only want confirmed, real info; not "my cousin's best friend's mailman got one!" That is why I have been posting links to actual store listings giving specific dates. The Bart Smit link seems legit. They are taking orders not pre-orders, so it seems they have Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Hot Dog & Shroomboom. No other Netherlands store is shipping yet though.

I'm almost tempted to pre-order that Molton Hot Dog from Bol.com just because I can't find who will have it in Sweden. I have to remind myself I am not collecting variants though (I know that at this point it would be impossible to obtain Gnarly, Royal, Punch & Granite even if I could get Molton, Jade, Scarlet & Polar, and if I can't have them all..) Stupid compulsive collector mentality
