No love for Swarm - $3 @ Amazon [CLOSED]

Swarm gets no love. He is $2.99 @ Amazon right now with FS if you have Prime...

Just wanted to let people know that this happened to me, too.
I ordered "Swarm" off Amazon last week, when the "Swarm" price was dropped to $9.99.
Thought I was getting a great deal.

Then, BAM!, today the "Swarm" price dropped to (lol!) $2.99. Naturally, I no longer thought I got a "great deal" @ $9.99.
So, I contacted Amazon customer service via Amazon's online chat feature, and requested that Amazon refund $7.00 to me (the difference in price between $9.99 and $2.99).

I was ready for them to tell me "tough luck", blah, blah, "we can't help you on this matter", blah, blah ..... but to my surprise, they actually credited me the $7.00, with very little hassle at all.

+1 to Amazon for respecting the Buyer in this case.
Just thought I should share and encourage anyone else in this situation to follow my lead.

Sad. Amazon must be overstocked with Swarms.

I love Swarm though so he'll always be #1 in my heart (and Bouncer will always be 666 because he sucks).

Might've been a mistake. I saw him on Amazon for $3 a couple hours ago and was waiting on a text from my boyfriend to see if he wanted to get anything else. Kinda wish I just went ahead and ordered. smilie

Edit: Price on Dragonfire Cannon pack is $17.99 now too.

It wasn't a mistake. It was a temporary price to eliminate a large volume of overstock, and when they sold through that allotted amount, the price returned to $9.99.

Man, I can't believe I missed this. God, you almost have to be online 24/7 to see these things. I too ordered Swam at 9.99 (two in fact) and they haven't even shipped them yet.

I ALWAYS see Bouncer when I walk into a store; Swarm not as much as Bouncer but still more than any of the other Giants.

I printed out the Amazon page for the Dragonfire Cannon and took it to Target. Got it for $9.99 since Target price matches Amazon!!!!!!

Best Buy has something weird going on... If you search "skylanders", Battle Pack #1 shows up as $9.99, but if you put it in your cart, the price seems to increase to $17.99. If someone wants to make a call to bb.com to work this out.... ;-)

Best Buy also matches Amazon pricing. So while it was $9.99 on Amazon, Best Buy probably did the same thing. But then It went to $17.99 on Amazon, so Best buy changed it too, but forgot to make the change on the item page.

I just placed an order for that (along with S2 Bash which I have been having trouble finding) and it went through fine.
